Even in your dreams you’re not safe…The nightmare is only just beginning…
When DC Rose Gifford is called to investigate the death of a young woman suffocated in her bed, she can’t shake the feeling that there’s more to the crime than meets the eye.
It looks like a straightforward crime scene – but the police can’t find the killer. Enter DS Moony – an eccentric older detective who runs UCIT, a secret department of the Met set up to solve supernatural crimes. Moony wants Rose to help her out – but Rose doesn’t believe in any of that.
Does she?
As the killer prepares to strike again, Rose must pick a side – before a second woman dies.
Twisty, original and compelling, SLEEP TIGHT is perfect for fans of Alex North and Cara Hunter.

Great start to a series
DC Rose Gifford is called to investigate the death of a young woman who suffered from sleep terrors and was found suffocated in her bed. There seems to be more to the case than meets the eye, and Rose soon finds herself working with a secret department of the Met, UCIT, which deals with supernatural occurrences.
I've enjoyed Cass Green's previous work, and this book, which is the first in a new series, is absolutely brilliant. The supernatural storyline, which I loved, made this book so much more than the usual police procedural/psychological thriller. Rose is a brilliant but complex character, and I also liked DS Moody, and look forward to meeting them again in the next book in the series.
The narration by Lisa Coleman was superb.

Unusual angle and great characters.
Such an unusual and imaginative story line. I enjoyed listening to Rose growing stronger and embracing her gift. I really liked DI Moony's character right from the beginning. I look forward to listening to C S Greens other books in this series.

Okay
No idea why such high reviews?! Its not a "gripping thriller" but does have an additional thread which makes it better than the usual detective series (which can get repetitive and boring).
