Summary
He’s everything she has ever desired. But there’s only one way to keep her man alive: let him go.
With Nasir’s life on the line, Eva makes a deal with the devil. She slips away to return to Dimitri, the mob boss who held her captive for years, only to step into a new world of trouble. Abducted by one of Dimitri’s most cunning adversaries, Eva finds herself an unwitting pawn in a dangerous game of cat and mouse.
When Eva disappears, Naz is prepared to do anything to find her. Tracking her to the remote regions of Portugal is just the beginning of the hunt. Bewitched by Eva’s beauty, the darkly seductive spy who abducted her now has more than business on his mind, but the only way for the trio to defeat Dimitri is to work together…despite the explosive desires threatening to consume them.
With a game so deadly and the stakes so high, Naz and Eva’s love will be tested in ways neither of them could foresee…or perhaps survive.

So freaking good!
So this picks up where we left DANGEROUS BEAUTY and continues to build both tension and plot. Eva has been taken but all is not as it seems. There’s a sailing ship, an Irish guy, a well-to-do Frenchman, more unaliving, bodies, and action.
J.T. has this amazing ability to balance out the crazy plot and dark situations these characters find themselves in with humour. This is my favourite brand though, it’s as dry as the Sahara. As a Brit I wholeheartedly appreciate a dry sense of humour. And this book is full of great one-liners and sarcasm. I mean, Eva calls Nas, Superior Man, and Nas calls her, Elephant Girl who suffers from Awesome Intelligentitis!
I’m giving nothing away on this one as it’s such a compelling listen. Lydia and Aiden smash the narration on it. Lydia gives us the stoic woman under Eva’s battered exterior. Aiden the alpha who just needs to keep Eva safe. It really is a delight on the ears.
If you’re looking for a fast-paced story with plenty of plot, humour, and a deep connection that just grows deeper, pick the DANGEROUS series. It really is top-notch.

Wow again !
At last a Book 2 that was as good as Book 1, ending again on a cliffhanger. Excellent MCs continue their quest in this follow on exactly where Book 1 terminated.
We meet Killian, another spoke in the wheel in this thrilling tale. The author fills in details of each MCs life and legend; we enjoy clever banter between all parties at different times.
Fantastic narrations, evoking every ounce of drama and passion possible.
Book 3 here I come.
GREAT STORY
