About the Performer

Peter has been recording short stories, abridged, and unabridged audiobooks since 1993 and has recorded upwards of 300 titles from authors as diverse as Iain M Banks, Andrzej Sapkowski, Claire North, Neill Gaiman, Kate Atkinson, Mo Hayder, and Robert Louis Stevenson. His recordings cover a wide range from factual, technical books through historical fiction and science fiction, to mystery thrillers, epic fantasy and biographies. This book like the others amazing. The story has you gripped from the beginning, not able to put the book down. I really can’t wait for the next book and the book after that to find out how the story ends. you will not be disappointed, reading, or listening to this series.

As a long time reader and lover of fantasy books, especially dragon rider fantasy, I found this book to be gripping, the story is exceptionally well thought out and the characters are well defined and have grown through each book. The narrator gives a masterful performance and helped immerse me in this world. The magic system was both fun, interesting and at times mouthwatering (former chef here.)

I can’t recommend this series enough, and eagerly await the next instalment.

Loved it! Just like the others. A great read with a lot of feelings. I was literally afraid of going further at one point, because I was not sure my heart could handle the turn of events. But I kept listening anyway and even though you get a lot of feelings through the book, it is worthwhile. I will even say it makes it all the better.

I love Peter Kenny as a narrator.

The Song of Chaos Series is one of my all-time favourite. It is simply AMAZING.
Well done world building and characters, with great development.

Absolutely loved the latest instalment in Holt and Ash’s adventures EXCEPT…
1. The next book isn’t available yet! 😭😭😭🤯🤯
2. I now really want an Ash plushie and they aren’t available anymore 😢

Seriously though, this was amazing. So many more elements to the story now and I’m loving how the soul growth element is gaining importance. But oh my goodness, the stress finding out what happens with Wrath and Aberanth!! 😳. And I am falling in love with little Nox. 🥰 I can’t wait for the next instalment!

If magic and dragon riders are your thing then this story is for you. Michael R Miller has done an amazing job of developing all the characters and their personal journeys. Each chapter left me eager for the next. I was completely engrossed in this story and will be waiting eagerly for book four.
Peter Kenny has done a magnificent job of bringing the characters to life and it is a pleasure to listen to him narrate.
