I really wanted to like this. The narrator was good and the story started really well. As it went on it became a bit tedious and there were loose ends not tied up. The ending was not great at all. Some characters were not rounded enough and it felt that the author had run out of steam.

Confusing and an anticlimax

I couldn’t finish this, even the reviews that promised a great twist at the end could not keep me listening. The narration was so irritating I couldn’t finish. That pseudo innocent, whiny high pitched voice, ugh. I thought I’d pull my own ears off every time she was “screaming “ from inside the hole.

To be honest, the first half of the book was a little bit boring for my taste, but after that, it became more interesting. overall, I’ve enjoyed it

I didn't know what to expect as I wasn't keen on the voice at first, but it grew on me and the story line was pretty good.

The main character started to annoy me but halfway through the book I started to feel sorry for her. Towards the end there is a real twist. I enjoyed it.

Absolutely fantastic story. Brilliant twists and turns. Narration was brilliant. I would highly recommend and I’m looking forward to reading more of the authors work.

It was mesmerising and a lot of twists and turns to mess with the readers minds. Very successful detours until the very end. But it ends too early I never wanted a protagonist / victim to get what they deserved.

I still thoroughly enjoyed the ride though and it was sure cleverly plotted.
