I have read all of the Dragons of Pern books ( many years ago ) this book was a free read so I thought I’d listen instead .. I still like the story but the Narrator was a bit hard to get used to - (she sounded like a mature woman )
Not a teenage boy
I have a spare credit so I might go and see what else is on offer but not with this narrator

I read the harper series nearly twenty years ago and absolutely loved it, so I knew the story before I listened to it on Audible. I was somewhat hesitant though, as I have found several of my favourite books absolutely RUINED by poor narrators with grating voices, but Ms Darling does an excellent job portraying a vast array of personalities. She has a very pleasant voice and it was a pleasure listening to the story.

As always I ve been a huge fan of Anne's work Unfortunately there seems to be no sign of the rest of the Pern series she wrote solo and as always I'd prefer an unabridged version. I can't be the only one who wants the whole of Her works on audio book just hoping it will happen sometime
