About this listen

Unlikely allies uniting across the world. Blood feuds that span centuries. A single chance at life.

The world watches the sky with trepidation. The insanity of Xenocide knew no bounds, and all will soon suffer the effects he had planned for a millennium. Though none know what is to come, they all know it isn't going to be easy to survive.

The Master has a plan, one that can give the world at large a way to escape the onrushing desolation. It may be on the bleeding edge of morality and what he needs might prove too difficult to secure, but the Master asks for trust.

Cal and Dale both have their role to play as the world hurtles toward destruction. One needs to bring the races of the world together while the other simply needs to survive. Surrounded by supposed allies, the duo will do all that they can to succeed - but with every new arrival comes rising tensions and faltering trust.

The apocalypse is coming. Will honor or greed stand the test of time?

Story was as captivating as other 4 books were. I really enjoyd storytelling and how it finnished story.
Didn't really like reader. All female characters sounded manlier than male characters. Couldn't really distinguise characters from each other. My mind always tried to hear voices from the previous books narrator.

Great as rest of the Serie

The story is decent, but the new voices messed up the experience for me. A lot of characters had suddenly new personalities and voices which was a bit of a blow. I would not feel fair to give lower than 4 to either the story or the narrator is ot was decent, but it is a close call. I assume I can't handle change.

Decent story, but I missed Vikas Adam

I really enjoyed the story. Wish another book would come.

I managed to get over the narrator change but the female voices and accents of the new narrator were just terrible for me.

Awesome story, not great narrator

it took alot of getting use to with the new narrator, it's not bad but not as good as the original one and the female voices do sound a little manily I must say so that gets confusing, worth a listen if you want to know what happens next though

difficult to listen to with new narrator

great book was not sold old on the new narrator as the old one one was far superior in the multiple voices and he sounded like officer Joe from Family Guy why too much.

great book

Would have been nice if the narrator had done a proper job and actualy read the other books..he changed voices and personality of characters that dont fall in line with the book. E.g. Hans is now a rough speaking cockney..when it was specifically stated that he had a posh..ish accent as it is part of his backstory. Cal went from from being intelligent to a Homer Simpson knock off. Just plain lazy Luke..do a better job or dont bother next, time you ruined the end to a great series. All your work sounds the same stop pushing your personality into other peoples work!

Damn narrator!

The story was great as always however due to the Voice actor change the story was so hard to follow, the characters sounded so much the same and the differences between the sexes also killed the flow of the book.

I love all of your books but sorry to say I had to force myself to listen to the end so I would get the story finished into my head.
the imagery that I had created and invested in 4 books past was just killed.

NEVER CHANGE THE COICE ACTOR DURING THE STORY.
