About this listen

The thrilling isekai adventure series delves ever deeper as a sentient dungeon core—once human—continues to grow in size, scope . . . and danger.

It seems like a lifetime ago that Thedeim was a mortal man. After a fatal accident, he was transported to a strange realm to begin again as a living low-level dungeon. But he didn't stay small for long. With a powerful will, he built his dungeon self into a force to be reckoned with, full of minions, creepy crawlies, and a hedge maze to die for.

Except Thedeim isn't a place where delvers die. He's a different, friendlier kind of dungeon, which suits both him and his many allies just fine. But being a nice dungeon means taking on some not-so-nice entities.

Now, an enemy of monstrous design is plaguing the realm—and requesting Thedeim's aid. The imminent fight against this mysterious foe will push Thedeim to the limits of his power, his mana, even his humanity. But one thing he knows is how to go beyond his limits. Even if it leads to peril. Or the afterlife . . .

The third volume of the hit LitRPG fantasy series—with more than seven million views on Royal Road—now available on Kindle, Kindle Unlimited, and Audible!

A great addition to the story, from the mellow start and slice of life/ dungeon shenanigans to the steady ramp up to the confrontation and finally the excellent ending, if you liked the first 2 instalments then you will love this one!

A wonderful continuation

This was such a fun read (as expected of Khenal). It was also funny and well written. Despite this having 100 chapters, it was not difficult to get through. I'm looking forward to the next adventure you see how Thediem will grow.

Michael Gallagher is fantastic as always. Honestly, his narration was one of the things I was looking forward to hearing again. There were so many characters that he had to do voices for and he did them justice.

The one downside was the long list of characters. I wish there was a master list I could check because I forgot who some characters were between the last book and this one. I ended up buying the Kindle version just for the list at the beginning. It doesn't capture characters outside the dungeon.

Anyways, this was a solid listen and it lived up to any expectations I had

5-Stars I didn't even have to think about

I'm speechless with the ending. It's just that good, but also feels like an end to the story which is sad

Even better than the 1st book

I do find the pronunciation of some words painful probably because I'm English and fussy.

Loved the story and characters

An interesting addition to the story, with some new additions to the world but a lot of Solutions preceding a problem with vast info dumps spread throughout, with an essential long one toward the end.

Good but boring In places
