Never in my life did I think I would be saying the words “I am completely invested in the cultivation of a monstrous ant and his colony”. But here we are.

This is another example of Jeff Hayes absolute brilliance as an audiobook narrator with Annie Ellicott doing an exceptional job as the female characters.

I don’t want to drop any spoilers but honestly - if you’re a fan of Lit RPG, Southbooth theatre productions (I mean if not, why not?) and like your books with quick witty quips (and lots of ant related puns and jokes) - this is most definitely the read for you.

Will most definitely be checking out more from RhinoZ now I have caught up on Anthony escapades in the dungeon. Can’t wait for the next installment!

I love these books. I never thought a series about monster ants would be one of mu favourites but here we are. can't wait for the next one.

I should really go and paste this on books 1-5 because this series is one of my favourites of recent times; it's an interesting take on the system litRPG thing and has some really deep world building and great dialogue. Jeff hays knocks it out of the park but I have to acknowledge Annie Ellicott here too - at some point Annie has mastered her craft and her narration in this series is 5 star. This series has enough stats to keep me interested without it being too "crunchy" and they're designed to be skippable if you don't want even that much. Overall a fascinating setting, lots of really interesting characters and well written action and characters - all the books in this series are definitely worth a credit although I think there's an omnibus of 1-3 now too.

I am hooked! I just can't put these books down I just find them so enjoyable and satisfying to listen too, looking forward to the next instant and seeing what shenanigans happen next for the colony.
