Great story-telling and great narration made this a very enjoyable listen and I can't wait for Peter Swanson's next book.

It’s a quick listen I listened to it in a day. It actually surprised me that I enjoyed it as it was very slow at first. It kept me guessing. What I thought at first was not right at all and the ending was a surprise. I liked the book as a whole. If you don’t like thrillers pass on this and if like me it’s one of your first thrillers it’s a good introduction to the genre.

A real slow start but soon the pace ramps up suddenly to full speed and literally could not put it down! Maybe the story was a little far fetched at times, but didn’t spoil the twists and suspense of it overall. Really great thriller. Really enjoy and recommend this author.

Just brilliant. Enjoyed the way the story didn’t reveal itself until quite a long way in, just hinted at things being wrong. The finale is really exciting

I listened to this book twice. this is how engaging n entertaining it is. Loved the main character, which seems to be a rare occurance in my latest books!
The narrator is utterly gorgeous, can I even use that word for a narrator? well, she was! did an excellent job with both the male & female voices.

This book made me really cross, and I was tempted not to finish it. The plot is completely unrealistic: nobody, not even rich men, are as a stupid as the male characters in this book. I understand power dynamics in relationships, but this was just too far fetched.

Loved this book from start to finish. Easy, enjoyable read. Gripping on every page. This author is amazing, I’ve read all of his books published to this day and he never fails to amaze me.

A good for her story, like almost all of this author’s novels. While I was nearly certain of a happy ending, I was still sitting on the edge of my seat the whole time. Great writing, can’t praise him enough. What I most admire in his books, he clearly respects women. Most authors nowadays dump gore and unnecessary nastiness in their books, he writes crime with a fine and subtle elegance. Kudos to the author and highly recommend all of his books.
