The fourth Forgotten Legacy audio book, and its as good as the first 3.

Both the story and narration are exceptional. This series draws you in and keeps you enthralled from beginning to end.

If I was ever going to fall in love with a fictional character it would probably be Luca! Everly is a very lucky woman.

I think this book may be my favourite of the series.
Mainly because I have a connection with Everly and the way she felt and the things she thought about herself.
This book had me in tears by chapter 4 ..lol..
I Love a sexy Drummer and Luca is definitely that...A misdialed phone text leads to months of chatting with a mystery woman known as Firefly..Who is later revealed as Everly.She helps Luca through some dark times...And so he wants to meet her to thank her for saving his life.
But Everly aka Firefly doesn't want to meet Luca Because of the way an accident that left her scarred makes her look.
Oh I absolutely Loved this story between Luca and Everly...I have fallen hopelessly in Love with Luca.The way he was so patient with Everly made my heart melt.
Thomas Lockclear once again just slays it with his Perfect Narration,his performance is flawless and I really enjoy listening to these books,because of Thomas.
L.Ann is such a gifted storyteller and she is making it impossible for me to let these characters go.
Excellent in every way,I highly recommend this book,it is a work of Art .
Magnificent.

Once again, this is a wonderfully entertaining and engaging story.

Each book maintains excitement, angst, and overall addictiveness. The first sexual experience Everleigh and Luca shared was hilarious. I love them together. They rock. There is lots of passionate steam between them, along with good communications.

The affectionate names that all the guys call their women are wonderful. It's a fascinating series, I'm thoroughly enjoying it.

What is next for Gabe, Harper, and the other band members? What kind of storm are they about to face? I can't wait to read book 5.

If you read or listened to Guarded Addiction you will know what happened to Luca’s twin Laz when they were young , if you haven’t you really need to start at book one Tattooed Memories to get to know the guys and follow the ongoing story.Luca has always blamed himself for not being there to save Laz and then when Lexi committed suicide he feels he let her down as well. He’s about ready to self destruct when he decides to send a text to Lexi’s mobile however he inputs the wrong number and an unknown person replies asking him if he’s ok and if he needs help and against his better judgement he replies. The start of Exquisite Scars carries on the text conversation between them and in turn she ends up saving Luca from himself and his darkness. I’ve always thought Luca was a huge dick a typical Jack the lad but after this he has my heart hearing Luca’s tragedy from his POV impacted on me a little more than the previous book and you begin to understand why he’s the way he is . I can’t wait for you all to hear Luca’s story and the girl who saved him and becomes the most important thing in his life ❤️

Reviewing this book is so hard to do because whatever you want to say is going to spoil the story and events that happen within. So I'm not going to summerise the story or tell you anything other than how this book had me reacting. Oh and I had a lot to react to.
Exqisite scars had me screaming, crying then laughing, at one point I was just shocked with pure disbeleif. Yep thats what L.Ann does to you. It was an amazing ride of emotion on all levels. If you are a fan of the forgotten legacy series you will be delighted at the romance and steam that happens between Luca and his lady. Oh boy and the steam levels were up 1000%. The chemistry between these characters is fever pitch. Luca is a naughty boy!!!! In the best possible way.
Lucas lady is not like the other girls in this series and she is a character that complements and fits in well with the rest.
So if you have'nt read the first three books in this sreies I insist you do because one they are awsome and two you need to know what happens to really enjoy Exquisite Scars.
The narration for this book was off the charts hot and steamy as hell. Thomas Locklear has a fantastic way of bringing the best out of the characters. He also has you squirming within your earphones.This author and narrator are match made in book heaven.

Wow!! I'm utterly blown away by L. Ann's incredible storytelling and Thomas Locklear's stellar performance. Exquisite Scars is beautifully written, emotionally charged, and wholly riveting. As soon as I started listening, I was hooked all the way to the very last word. The character development is absolutely phenomenal. I literally fell in love with Luca, the bad boy drummer and, his firefly, Everleigh, a scarred small-town girl and a librarian. Their journey was utterly poignant, heartrending, and captivating. It started with a wrong number and ended in two completely different people finding something rare and beautiful with each other.

Outstanding narration! Thomas Locklear's portrayal of Luca and Everleigh was flawless. He fully embodied the characters and depicted the nuances of the personalities, emotions, and chemistry. I was totally engaged, invested and felt connected with both characters. Exquisite Scars is definitely my favourite instalment in the forgotten Legacy series and one I'm wholeheartedly recommending.

I don’t think you have to listen to all the books however it is more enjoyable to listen in order. I have thoroughly enjoyed every book in this series. The characters have so much depth and your heart just goes out to them in every book. This story was so intriguing to me I couldn’t stop listening. I loved all the interaction between Luca and Everly. As always Thomas Locklear is amazing. His ability to have a different voice for every character is unbelievable to me. His acting skills make a great book/series even better. I definitely recommend this book/series.

What can I say except that L.Ann and Thomas have stolen my heart again!

L. Ann has written a riveting story on the Forgotten Legacy band one more time and this book is drummer Lucas’s story. Another gripping tale that follows this band of four friends who have stolen my heart.

Lucas is suffering from a lifetime of loss. We know it from prior books in this amazing series and seen it grip his sole. He reaches out one last time to text another person who has taken his heart but what he doesn’t expect is an answer from anyone. When a mysterious person answers his text he can’t let it go. This was such a unique way for these two to meet and form a mysterious bond. Both are broken in differing ways yet each are so good and healing for the other. L. Ann does not shy away from serious issues and this latest book is no different. I was amazed by how she weaves a story full of realism in situations that you feel to the depth of your heart and sole. Then to hear Thomas play each character so distinctly that it becomes a play enacted in your ears is amazing.

If you ever have a chance to listen to this series in audio, I cannot say enough about Thomas Locklear’s amazing talent in becoming the characters. His female voices, yes voices, are amazing. All of his characters are unique and what makes listening to him perform these voices is mesmerizing, just be sure to listen to them in order!

I cannot wait to hear the finale with Broken Halo. I’m already on pins and needles in anticipation.
