Great story and general advice but...
I heard the author on a British podcast recently and enjoyed her energy and backstory, so I got her audio book. Even though, she did mention it was mostly aimed at the US market, she said it was also relevant to the UK, Australia, NZ etc. The first half of the book was fine but it had a lot of links read out loud by the narrator and diagrams which can't be seen and sadly no accompanying PDF downloads which I've had with other books, I found I skipped over a lot of sections in the end. I did look up the cheat sheet on the dummies website but again there were limited resources there, and seemed to be more of an exercise in getting you to order other finance related books in the Dummies series. If you live in the US then this is no doubt a brilliant resource but I would definitely buy the physical book instead. If you're a UK resident interested in F.I.R.E, I would check out the Rebel Finance (free) online course instead, that was where I heard the podcast in the fist place!
