Summary

The Expeditionary Force saga continues with Fallout, the eagerly awaited sequel to number one Audible-ranked and New York Times best-selling Breakaway, from an epic sci-fi writer at the top of his game. Join the millions of listeners who have enjoyed R.C. Bray’s hilarious portrayal of Joe, Skippy, the Merry Band of Pirates, and so many other unforgettable characters.

The problem with lying about having a super weapon is that the bad guys might believe they have nothing to lose by doing something stupid that both sides will regret. Or, they might just call your bluff. Either way, the Merry Band of Pirates need a plan to deal with the Fallout.

Good but so much time wasted in useless stories

So the book as all the other books is amazing. The author clearly lissen to the readers and adapts his books accordingly. Very well done. But also he is still has this attachment to the marvricks and their story line evn when it was not too much of success and no it kind of murged in the main story that with totally honesty not so many readers are interested in. The first part of the book was bad, bad enough for me to skip chapters just to ignore it and not even care what happened then. And then it got a bit dull but alright as it was main story line. The last 6 to 8 hours are gold, gold as in what the older books used to be the good jucy action and evens that made this series a success. Please make your next book the whole book like that. So much to cover, so much going on, and so much I am afraid won't be written about in the very few books left in the serie. Please revise your priorities here and only write about what is really important. Thanks for the great story

5 stars across the board

Just a total joy. Great story building with some very funny character traits being developed and exhibited by the aliens. Brilliant narration from RC Bray, his portrayal of Skippy just gets funnier with some laugh out loud put downs and great interplay between Skippy and Joe. Craig's description of space flight and interdimensional travel is done in such a matter of fact and familiar way that you almost take it for granted that that's how it'll happen in the future, and the re introduction of the mavericks is just the icing on the fluffer nutter. Can't wait for book 14 👍👍👍

Awesome

R C Bray add so much to an already awesome prose from Craig Alanson. Sometimes you are laughing your head off others you are wondering what is going to happen next. Superb and looking forward to the next exciting book. The saga has not lost its sparkle.

The saga goes on & on & I am still rivotted to it

What can I say. Technically it's mind boggling but I always want more. It is so well crafted it sounds like a real movie that only I am able to see but in my head and not on the screen. Thats basically down to the precise descriptive narrative and the excellent characterization of the narrative. Full marks to both the author and the consistency of the narrator. So many serialized books change narrative performers along the way and that just messes with what you have visualised in your head. I hate finishing one of these books because I can't wait for the next one. My solution to that is don't start one until you can't wait any longer. Once started I have get through to the end as fast as I can. Now I have a long wait before the next one. I visualise it al as a long running funny TV serial which I hope will happen soon.
