About this listen

Hostility hit a peak during Term 4 of Fate Hollow Academy.

Supernaturals split with opinions for the hierarchy being abolished, sowing seeds of discord in an already divided people. The dragons of Blezen implanted their DNA into their supernatural allies, but their plan wasn’t producing the dragon mutation they’d expected. Their only hope to have the dragon utopia they craved was to take possession of the supernatural relic.

The humans and supernaturals fought at the site for the supernatural relic, a relic capable of wiping magic from Kalista. The three sides of this war were at perilous odds, but whoever ended up with the relic would win the war.

But the war wasn’t the only threat. My rejected mate altered his course with the dragons and desired to corrupt me with the dark magic running through his veins so we could make a new type of supernatural—supernaturals that wielded dark magic. I may have strengthened my magic and ability to fight, but fighting against dark magic itself was inconceivable.

We had most of the supernaturals on our side. Numbers didn’t always equal strength, but when a new faction appeared with someone I’d thought I had lost, they came with inside knowledge and the technology needed to destroy the supernatural relic.

Fate Hollow Academy Term 4 is book is the final book in the Fate Hollow Academy Series. It is a paranormal why-choose romance that contains mature subject matter that may not be suitable for all listeners.

Last book in the series and I can't believe I'm saying this...but soooo much smex! I know she has 6 mates, but I think nearly every chapter had smex, if not then the next one made up for it with double smex. It ended up being less special and more repetitive in most of those scenes. Should have kept the hottest scenes and concentrated more on the world build and side characters maybe. Those hot scenes though...now they were 🔥

Anyway, high rating is for the main characters and the depth to them, oh and Shade! Oh and Damien and his parents! Wren and how she handles if all, how she navigates her mates and their needs and how they feel for her is heartwarming and all of the guys have different traits and personalities that add to the dynamic of the group. Their made family is a RH goal to aim for...even with all the smex. But then again the last chapter seems to also address that and made me like the overall series more just for how it ended.

But first....

Grayson's plot was flat, I don't understand his relationship with the dragons, that could have been built on. Actually, all the main characters' past issues hampering their current lives could have been built on.

The last few chapters were fast-moving and all about the final blow, and that was okay. Each mate had a part to play and it was like closure through blood gore and war. It was bittersweet in some cases... but it was an end that fitted the war.

It does end in a HEA and a glimpse into their cosy future. But I did have one question....where was Shade?

HEA and satisfying closure
