About this listen
If you’ve ever been interested in the Japanese art of decluttering or the Chinese art of feng shui, this two-audiobook bundle is the perfect marriage of these two ancient practices.
First, we have Decluttering Your Life:
What if I told you that for the cost of this audiobook you could reduce stress, clear your mind, and live a happier life? Well, you can.
If you feel overwhelmed, stressed, and like you constantly have a huge weight on your shoulders, odds are you need to declutter your life.
Decluttering is highly necessary in today’s world, where there are numerous opportunities to distract one’s self and live a life of chaos and stress.
From the things we acquire and accumulate to the things we desire and stress over, it makes up an ocean of unnecessary distractions and clutter in our heads and our lives.
The solution is to declutter, and anyone could tell you that, but what is not always known is how to recognize the point at which you need to start. You also need to know how to do it and what to look for to know if it’s working.
This audiobook has all that and more.
We break it down to a level that almost anyone can apply to their unique circumstances. But the work is yours to do; we can only pave the road, you must do the driving.
Here’s a sneak peek at what’s inside the first audiobook:
- What exactly is clutter?
- How to recognize clutter in your life
- What is mental clutter?
- How physical clutter can cause emotional and psychological clutter
- A step-by-step guide on how to remove all clutter from your life
- And so much more!
Feng Shui Made Simple, the second audiobook in this bundle, is the perfect starting point for anyone interested in feng shui.
The practice of feng shui brings a positive balance of energy to your home and your life.
Sabrina Godwin takes you through all of the basics like:
- An introduction to feng shui
- Yin and yang
- The five elements and what they mean
- The bagua
- Feng shui’ing your bedroom, kitchen, and every other room in your house

Easy to read and understand.
The author takes what could be a complicated subject and presents key Feng Shui elements that I could apply now.

A Simplified Decluttering Process
I have listen many, many organizing books. I decided to listen this one because I love Sabrina podcast. Turns out that this book is for those of us who want to simplify the process and eliminate the emotional tug that clutter has on our hearts. Sabrina boils it down to two simple questions and into bite-sized chunks of time. Just listen it.

Quick listen
I love the minimalism movement, and I can't get enough of organizing tips, in general. But what I loved best about this book was that it was a super quick listen, the language wasn't too ethereal or formal and the tips are simple, but fresh and realistic for real-world decluttering. I haven't listen the author's other book - but probably will look for it, as well as her blog.

Dilemma No More
I began to suggest this book before I had finished it. I decluttered three years ago...but the clutter was coming back! This listen tells me this is normal and how to get back on track forever. Direct and written with great humor.

Helpful!
I am recommending this book to all of my friends, because it has such great advice for truly cleaning up our homes--and our lives. Sabrina Godwin's theory, based on her experience with clients, is that making the hundreds or thousands of decisions for keeping or discarding each item help us to continue applying these priorities to our work and personal lives. You feel a lightness from discarding objects that did not bring you joy, you gain clarity from seeing themes around the books and other objects that you keep, and you gain confidence from having to make so many decisions. I especially recommend this book to anyone who is feeling uncertain about what they want from life or who is feeling frustrated that their life or just their day-to-day routines are not going the way they want. Visualize your ideal life/day, listen this book, then get to it.

Valuable insights to tidy the house,
Oh my goodness! Imagine for a moment your disapproving Japanese mother giving you a talking to about cleaning up your act, straightening out your cupboards, discarding nonessential and living up to her standards of cleanliness and order. And that is just Chapter One of this oddly charming book by the delightfully bossy and terribly sensible Ms. Sabrina Godwin . Excuses? You say you have excuses for your untidiness? She anticipates and disarms every excuse. Your closet is jammed and there is one shirt with the tags still on it that you've never worn because it doesn't feel quite right. Pick it up in your hands; thank it for the thrill it gave you when you bought it, and consign it to the trash. Every item of clothing should evoke a spark of joy in your heart or it should be thrown away.
At times I laughed aloud as I listen the author's rather severe advice to my husband. But I did rip through closets and cupboards and recycled over a dozen large trash bags and six cartons of stuff. And I'm not nearly done yet.
This book is a quick listen and rather fun. It was highly recommended by a male friend who seems to have taken it as a work of philosophy, which it is. Want to let go of attachment as part of your spiritual journey? Clean your closet. Practice Buddhist asceticism and focus by distilling your possessions to the minimum. It has been an interesting experience and it's not over yet

Feng Shui in real terms
This is a really good book on Feng Shui. It is very down to earth and does not talk about the outlandish concepts of mayhem just because your bedroom is over the garage. Instead it is fact based on how Feng Shui began and why.
