I unexpectedly found this book, and I’m so glad I did. It’s a story you will remember. I’m sad there isn’t a series.
I absolutely loved the characters, storyline and narration.
The description of the gardens was magical, and the moon gate …….. I’m looking that up to see if it’s a thing that can be recreated because I want one😁
The story itself, made me cry on a few occasions for Diana - slightly embarrassed because I was at work ☺️ Her story was heartbreaking, but luckily had some happiness towards the end. I can only imagine how traumatic it was for her, hence the crying. I found myself commenting out loud to when the awful events were happening, which garnered a few odd looks😊
All in all, a thoroughly entertaining listen, and nothing like I expected.
Definitely recommend.
