Quite frankly, I didn’t enjoy this tale, it was too long and too involved and again, quite frankly, not engaging in its improbability. Perhaps a ‘Blue Stocking’ tale is not to my liking, although it starts off really well and very amusingly, it wobbles when George enters the scene and the implausibility begins.

This includes the beginning of the follow up book, which sounds interesting and hopefully more endearing. I shall try it.
