I enjoyed seeing how their story panned out. You definitely need to read the 1st book.

I don’t tend to go for a shorter book (defo not using a credit anyway) but really enjoyed this one. It’s a shame it wasn’t twice as long as I enjoyed the story and the characters!

The characters were likeable and I found it made you think about how easy it can be to take your partner/family for granted when everyone leads such a busy life. Charlotte one of the main characters definitely didn’t and it was nice to listen to a book that wasn’t just about the thrill of the chase, rather life and the things that crop up on the way.

Would recommend and will have a look at other books from this author.

Thankyou Haley a sequel to 'Those Who Wait' ! How often have we been 'left hanging' never knowing how our two MC's are down the line ? Haley has answered that for us with this 'what happened next' for Charlotte and Spencer !
I only wish LP didn't insist on using her whiney, squeaky , cringeworthy voice, it spoils the narration. This time there was not enough difference between the two MC's, both often sounding the same ! I know LP has a really good narration except for this peculiarity and I cannot listen to her works back to back.
Once again Thankyou Haley we really did get our HEA !

I have read every book Haley Cass has written and absolutely loved listening to Lori read them. This wasn’t an overly long book but I love how it finished off the story. 10/10 will be reading again.
