Summary
Sutton Spencer's ideas for her life were fairly simple: finish graduate school and fall in love. It would be a lot simpler if she could pinpoint exactly what she should do when she graduates in less than a year. Oh, and if she could figure out how to talk to a woman without feeling like a total mess, that would be great, too.
Charlotte Thompson is very much the opposite. She's always had clear steps outlining her path to success with no time or inclination for romance. Her burgeoning career in politics means everything to her, and she's not willing to compromise it for something as insignificant as love. Fleeting, casual, and discreet worked perfectly fine.
When they meet through a dating app, it's immediately clear that they aren't suited for anything more than friendship. Right?

Brilliant Story. Disappointing Narrator
I've read this book before on ebook and loved it so much I had to get the audiobook. The story is sweet, heartwarming and steamy as hell. However, I wish I hadn't got the audiobook version, as the narration really doesn't do the story justice.
This is the first audiobook by Lori Prince I've listened to and unfortunately I think it will be my last. Not only did her voices for the characters not match what I heard in my head. Charlotte's in perticular, who sounded far to soft spoken in my opinion based on her character description, but none of the characters sounded distinctive enough. To be honest, if I hadn't already read the book and had an ebook copy I would have been confused who was actually talking from time to time.
I highly recommend the story, but unless you have your heart set on the audiobook version, read the ebook or paperback version instead.

Funny
This is a new author to me and I’ll definitely be reading more. This book had me laughing so much. I loved both characters their chemistry was perfect together patience and bumbling work so well together

Sooo good!
Lovely story about two women finding each other and falling in love. I didn't want the book to end. Fantastic narration and storytelling. Definitely recommend!

Lots of action but good love story too
I really enjoyed the two main characters in this book. Great story and as a longer audio book you really got the detail behind the characters and nice that it kept flipping from each of their perspectives. Definitely recommended

Darling!
The best book I've listened to!!
Absolutely loved it! I was a bit sceptical with the first couple chapters, but I was quickly hooked and couldn't stop listening, lovable characters and the detail in all the emotions had me smiling, frowning and laughing all the way through. 21 hours of a gorgeous novel, darling!

brilliant
Finished this last night 🙂....Best lgbtq romance novel I've listened too...EVER! Great storyline, the sex scenes gave me all the feels, and the characters were so believable. I was really routing for the 2 main characters. I couldn't stop listening and wish it was longer 🙂

Loved this lesbian romance
Not in the least realistic, naive and very wasp but well written and very enjoyable lesbian romance. Made me laugh and cry and refreshingly does not use sex simply as padding, which is a a nice change.
The narrator is good at limiting her use of a sexy voice for sexy moments - also a refreshing change - and defining characters through the use of different sounding voices, which is always helpful in an audio production, even though some of the voices are a little weird.

One of my favourites
When a story, the characters and narrator all come together it really creates a special occasion. Although I have only just finished the book I know I will revisit over and over 🙏🙏🙏 everyone
