Most tense, emotional and utterly brilliant piece of this series and from all of Burokers books I've listened so far.

Lots going on, and lots of loose ends tied up with this book, hopefully there will be more books coming in this series. This have great plots and just brilliant characters in then.

The Imperial Barracks have fallen.

Sicarius is captured and has his mind controlled by Kor Nas, a Nurian Practitioner. Amaranthe, Books and Akstyre are also captured by Lord Admiral Starcrest.

However, Amaranthe, not one to take things lying down, is soon free and on the hunt to free Sicarius and to recapture the Imperial Barracks, with the help of Lord Admiral Starcrest, but not everyone will survive.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the Emeror's Edge and will be quite sad when it ends. However, as Audible is taking time to record the final two books, I guess it will be a while yet!

These last 2 stories have been full of excitement and drama, and complete the saga. But the temptation of 2 more written but not recorded makes the waiting difficult.

The whole set of these books gripped me from the very beginning and this book didn’t disappoint one bit.
Loved the twists and turns through out this book and Great ending to the final book.

Another great Series by Lindsay. Plenty of action, believable characters and enthralling story lines. Narration first class as usual. I thoroughly enjoyed every book in this Series and was glad to see characters from previous Series being included.
