Just discovered this and find it incredibly useful as a learning aid. I would like a similar guide in Italian but cannot find it - surely as there is a French Conversation and a Spanish Conversation there should be an Italian one? Come on Paul, please record an equivalent Italian one. these are such a help.

Brilliant!

I have learnt SO much using Paul Noble's teaching. I just rewind now and again to make sure I've understood it, and then it seems engrained in my brain for good. I really can't praise his audible books enough....

Simply Fantastic

This is the first time out of many that I’ve really been able to engage with French teaching - it’s not only perfectly structured but also reassuringly positive and encouraging. My only slight reservation is that the male reader’s speech is rather mumbled - I realise that we are learning to follow real French speakers, but it’s difficult at this stage if the voice is indistinct. Otherwise I love it!

Perfect way to learn

I bought this so that I would have a greater understanding of what was being said to me on holiday. It would be incredibly useful if Paul could consider doing a holiday guide. Most of what we learnt on this course was informal and I struggled to know how to reply in a formal setting. Having said that, this guide really helped me to grasp what was being said. Thank you, Paul!

I found Paul Noble's 2 Courses 'Learn French' and 'Next Steps in French' very good indeed. His style of teaching really works for me. once I'd finished those 2 courses I tried to continue studying using different sources but nothing really compared to the Paul Noble stuff. I think I'm doing OK until I get into a situation where a French person is talking at normal speed using normal conversational French and then I struggle to understand anything. So I was really pleased when this course came out. It addresses these issues in Paul Noble's inimitable style. I'm only part way through it but it's already really helping a lot and I would certainly recommend this to anyone struggling with understanding day to day spoken French at normal speed

The Course I've Been Waiting For

Seemed to be a slight glitch at the end of one track. But it didn't affect its usefulness.

In my view Paul Noble is one of the finest language teachers who ever set their mind to assisting others to learn their chosen language. I have all of his audio books for both French and Italian and from the very first listen I was absolutely hooked. Having hated languages at school I have come quite late to the joys and primarily this has been due to the methods of teaching I had which did nothing for me to promote learning. From the first day of listening to Paul’s Beginners French course I couldn't wait to find the time for myself to get back to learning. His very natural conversational style of teaching and explaining concepts is completely wonderful. The books are all so good that I have made repeated listens which I guess is what you want to encourage learners to do for foreign language learning. I have supported Pauls brilliant support with a well known Owl based App which has its merits but doesn't explain anything and really doesn't get you speaking and understanding why you are saying what you are. The problem was that as much as I have advanced to the point I can very confidently read and understand written French at a good level now, I still cannot understand a word I hear when spoken by French natives. I was planning to have lessons online and will still do that but just in time Paul releases his newest French book which addresses that issue head on. I am working my way slowly through this and at times I wonder if the course is making a difference but after only about 4 weeks I had something of an epiphany when I realised that as if by magic the understanding of the dialogues, but more importantly my ability to process how words link has improved exponentially. It really has been something of a shock how it has happened and I am amazed. This man is a genius and I am eternally grateful to him for his efforts,

Just what I needed at the right time
