Great book

I love anything that focuses on a healthy gut. This book is full of great recipes for nourishing the gut, ensuring the right microbiome which in turn leads to more energy, better sleep and just feeling healthier! The book talks about the benefits of eating the right foods and how important it is for having balanced hormones.

For someone like me who knows very little or nothing about gut health, I found this book very informative and educative with helpful ideas for different recipes that helps to boost gut health. I have been particularly encouraged to improve on my Fibre intake.

Stay Healthy Over 40

I really loved this book. I originally got this book for my wife. She has had a hormone imbalance since her bout with cancer. We listened to the book together and to be honest I probably enjoyed the book as much as my wife. We really like the nutrition information in the book. The recipes for smoothies, soups, salads, and other items were incredible. The author also discussed different beneficial powders such as protein powders, superfoods, and vitamins. Really an interesting book packed with great information.

Excellent resource for gut health!

So much information here! I like that this book is specific for women my age. I've ready other books on gut health but I like that this seems tailored just for me!

"Gut Health Made Easy for Women over 40" goes into many different aspects of what makes up good gut health. It can be a little overwhelming but this book breaks it down into nice bite sized chucks, which I appreciate. I was especially intrigued by the anti-inflammatory foods, superfoods and mushrooms, fascinating.

There are a ton of recipes for smoothies, elixirs, and salads at the end which I will be trying. I like how there is a pdf included with this book so I can look at the recipes easier. Well done book!

In this beautifully produced audiobook, Lara West gives us a treasure trove of valuable information on gut health and nutrition. In essence, our diet is absolutely essential to our good health (or bad health!).
