About this listen
I named myself. I took the word animal out of their mouths, wore it like a badge of honor, then shoved it down their throats. I've fought for what I have. I see you coming before you even know you want a piece of me. In a city riddled with warring families, I'll rise up between them. My people, the broken souls I gather, will have power by the time I'm done with them.
I protect mine.
Him. My brother, Nix.
Her. The girl that is the only home I've ever had. She knows me.
I'm coming at you, sweetness. Stay ready.

Action & Steam & Feelings all with great narration
I knew I needed Animal’s story after listening to MERCY, and it was messy and feely and perfect. I loved that Animal wasn’t all in from the start. After getting the back story we feel T’s unrequited love and the pain of watching Animal with other women. But of course, there’s action on action with a little psychological stuff thrown in for good measure. After being wrenched apart he finally realises what he’s been missing but thinks it’s too little too late. T claws her way back to him and they get their HEA.
Rose was absolute perfection as T. She was youthful but had an inner strength born from living on the mean streets, and we get all of that from Rose’s performance. Benjamin was so great as Animal. The cocky alpha who knew just how delicious he was. Benjamin gives Animal that easy swagger. Zachary has a smaller part in this one but when he appears he makes it count, giving depth to this audiobook.
Another fantastic book full of action, inches upon inches of steam, and feelings that will pull on your heartstrings.

Great story
Definitely read Mercy (the first in the series) before this one as although it focuses on different characters, it’s very much intertwined. I thought Mercy was an ok/good listen, but this one was better.
This book succeeded at getting me completely absorbed and invested. Great plot and good characters. I’ve listened to way over 1000 books now and I rarely give a 5 star rating.
I’m surprised I still stuck with the 5 star rating despite the numerous other women, graphic scenes with other women, and the heart wrenching hurt it causes the lead female (they’re not in a relationship at the time so it’s not cheating, just horribly and knowingly hurtful). Even how it all turns around doesn’t feel like penance has been paid. However, despite all that, I still felt like this book had me hooked and the great plot means I can overlook that. If you’re looking for a fluffy romance this book is NOT for you. Definitely a strong emotional connection, but lots of other action going on too.
I’d liken this book to the King series by T.M. Frazier, and it’s got elements of Colleen Hoover books too (both authors have books I’ve loved).
And Benjamin Charles as a narrator? Seriously sexy. The 5 star performance rating is for him. Just checked and it’s a big shame that he hasn’t got any other books on Audible at present. Rose Dioro was ok, not my favourite and she wasn’t great at male voices, but it didn’t detract from me enjoying the book too much.

Absolutely brilliant.
With an amazing storyline, told to perfection by Debra Anastasia, Animal and T get their story told. and it is magic. Choc-a-bloc with passion, tension, sacrifice, devotion and love, there were times when I felt filled to the brim with the emotions it evoked. The narrators, Rose Dioro, Benjamin Charles (superb!) and Zachary Webber, bring nuance, passion, deep expressiveness and heart to a story that I will keep in my heart It's beautiful 😍 💖💖💖💖💖

Animal & T
Animal and T have been friends since they were teens always there when they needed each other until T left . Animal really took T for granted until he lost her and realised what he had lost although I loved their HEA I really wanted T to make Animal grovel a bit she let him off far to easy.

Havoc has all the Hot Daddy Vibes.🥵🥺💥💘
A 3.5 Star Story.⭐️
Havoc: Mercy, Book 2
By: Debra Anastasia
🎧 Audiobook Narrated by: Rose Dioro, Benjamin Charles, and Zachary Webber
Length: 7 hrs and 36 mins
📖 Ebbok Read Using Kindle Unlimited
Animal, street name Havoc, was raised in very poor Foster care. A policeman wanted to adopt him at around 12 years old, but his wife refused, and then threatened to ruin his career if he attempted it by divorcing her!💔
His only real friend was a homeless girl called 'T'. They looked out for each other as best they could as kids.🥰 After she'd saved him from death, she said goodbye and disappeared for years.
These two are fated one way or another. Rather like Animal & Nix were always going to brothers.🙏🏼
This has a great audiobook. The voice actor for Animal is perfection!🫠 The previous two were still amazing as well.👏🎧
This one was a little blood thirsty for me. But the emotional aspects were delicious.💋
