Summary

Jason has discovered that his homeworld is not what he thought. What’s more, the rest of the planet is on the precipice of sharing his revelation.

With magic on the rise and forces pulling him in multiple directions, Jason is faced with challenges greater than ever before.

Even as his power reaches new and incredible heights, he is faced with the realization that going beyond his best is still not enough.

About the series: Experience an isekai culture clash as a laid-back Australian finds himself in a very serious world. See him gain suspiciously evil powers through a unique progression system combining cultivation and traditional LitRPG elements. Enjoy a weak-to-strong story with a main character who earns his power without overshadowing everyone around him, with plenty of loot, adventurers, gods and magic. Rich characters and world-building offer humor, political intrigue and slice-of-life elements alongside lots of monster fighting and adventure.

Back on track!

After an undoubtedly shaky book 4 which will leave a sour taste in my mouth for some time to come HWFWM 5 has done it - get the series back on track! Not wanting to spoil anything for anyone might reading this yet to listen, would highly highly! recommend to read / listen to. Can hardly wait for the next instalment! Struth!

Glad to seeing it going this direction

From reading some of the reviews I was worried that this book was going to be a rehash of the last one but definitely not. It’s a great story and arc doesn’t at all feel repetitive, would definitely recommend to other fans of the series and would encourage to read it

Overall just okay

This felt very much like an in-between book and was the least captivating of the series so far.

Great book, abrupt ending.

As always, a fantastic performance with a good range of voices and amazing story telling.

the story felt different... not bad just a little more rushed, as if the author was rushing. The length of the story would tend to indicate that as well.

The ending felt very abrupt, I couldn't help but feel it was half the story.

All in all, another great book in the series.

Still a great series!

well written litrpg, fifth book and going strong, don't want to do spoilers, but there was some cheap "plotmovement" in the middle.

So many ups and downs and interesting conversations! Heath Miller has done a phenomenal job with this one again! Definitely the best choice for this series!

Just really good fun easy listening

The series of books I just really enjoyable right from the moment he wakes up naked and amazing book one through to the acquisition of different powers friends losing friends finding them again it’s great. It’s really good value for money over 20 hours of listening for one credit easy listening, just really good fun
