I’ve read this before in ebook form but this time I re-read/listen as an audiobook and I loved it even more in audio form! Fantastic narrator who totally brought the book to life, highly recommend.

I don’t know what it is about Sarah’s character building but she has me by the throat. Even better now that I’m re-reading the series years later

These books are getting better and better as you go through the series. I just can’t put them down.

The story has so many twists and turns that it's hard to share much without ruining plot twists. But this story follows the story of a young woman, Caelena, as she tries to take on the king of the land who seems to be causing great damage to the world he lives in, but who has also employed her as his personal assassin. The world building is phenomenal, the characters have great depth and the story is compelling! Well worth a listen!

I always forget the pain I go through when re-reading/re-listening to this series. This is one of my favourites in the Throne of Glass series because we finally meet the formidable Manon, and the adorably strong willed Abraxos, and let’s not forget my main man Rowan.
