Enjoyed the story, could envisage the characters and the twist was on a long fuse until it finally became clear.

This was a slow burner but once I had grasped the story it became a compulsive listen. Very well narrated and gripping

Great characters (touched, psycho, sick, disturbed-but great!). Really good story. Great twists. Very disturbing scenes and details of abuse but very integral to story.

I’m not going to discus the plot at all for this one - but I will say there are some graphic but thoughtfully written scenes of child abuse . The narration is as excellent and really dragged you into the story . This is my second listen to a book by this author I will certainly be listening to more from them . So far I’ve been kept guessing what will happen right up to the end instead of working out the plot half way through .

A dark and very twisted storyline either some graphic descriptions.

I certainly wouldn’t put anyone off reading this but feel that the best part of the book is captured in the final few chapters.

First book I have read by this author and did enjoy it
It was quite twisty and kept me interested
But just could not like the character of Hazel, I did try but jeez she really annoyed me. might have been the dungarees!!!
She did put me off a bit and never managed to feel a bond with her so therefore had no sympathy for her hence not a lot of interest in her storyline although she was a main character

Really good, the descriptive writing had me laughing out loud, brilliant and very enjoyable. NJ. Moss marathon all three I have listened too have been very unique and fun.

This was amazing, it was so addictive and I just had to keep listening There were so many twists and turns and I really needed to know what Millie was after. The ending was just perfect, apart from one niggle which to me wasnt explained, but it was really minor in the scheme of things.

What an amazing author and mind to create this plot. It was so well written.
The narration worked really well .
