Summary
He is the one that never looks her way.
He is handsome and strong.
He is rough around the edges and mean.
He is everything she’s ever wanted.
He doesn’t even know she exists.
Her life is a joke.
She doesn’t step on cracks in the sidewalk.
She laughs at inappropriate times.
She talks when she shouldn’t.
She is clumsy and trips on air.
She is finally on his radar.
God help her now.

Cute story
Quite a refreshing read and a lovely story all in all. Makes us remember to notice and see the person inside not just what's on the outside and that love has no bounds.
When it's true love it's right and it fits and it works.
Beautifully written.

Good listen
I really enjoyed Hissy Fit. The storyline was very easy and cute with some touching and sensitive topics.
Rayleigh always fancied Ezra in school but he never noticed her, she's the typical plane Jane and her awkward personality doesn't help her stand out for good reason. Now she works in the same school as Ezra and he still doesn't notice her until she clumsily gets hit by the box of condoms he's carrying in Target and he just has to make sure she's alright.
Rayleigh was very naive and could sometimes act a bit childish but it added to her character. Ezra is definitely the more mature half of the duo and his presence in the whole book just demanded your attention but not in an overpowering way. I loved his character and how he was such a role model to the students. Overall, it was a great story with loveable characters and I will definitely be reading the rest of the series.

Sweet and funny
Loved it. An entertaining read that got me hooked and desperate to know what the ending would be. Raleigh and Ezra went to school together but he didn't remember her. But when he finally notice her it’s explosive!

Loved the narration
Hissy Fit was my first Lani Lynn Vale novel and I have mixed emotions about this novel. I didn't like that the H didn't notice the h until the incident inspite of the fact they work together and I wished the h wasn't as clumsy as she was made out to be. I loved that the story was hilarious and there were times I couldn't stop laughing out loud. I loved that Ezra fell in love with Raleigh and her klutziness does not put him off. The story was emotional, steamy and hilarious and I did enjoy the romance between Ezra and Raleigh. I would recommend it to lovers of contemporary romance.
The audible version was narrated by Ava Erickson and Jacob Morgan. They did an excellent job with the characters and brought the story to life. They infused the right amount of emotion into the story and gave each characters their own voice. I enjoyed their narration of this novel.

A cute story!
I must admit--at first, I was hesitant to give this a try because I didn't like the first ani Lynn Vale book I listened to, but I'm glad I did! This cute story had me swooning and laughing out loud! Not only that, but it addresses some serious high school issues as well. I liked the subplots and the heartwarming ending.
Ava Erickson and Jacob Morgan did an amazing job narrating.
Hissy Fit is a contemporary romantic comedy written in dual first-person POV and performed in dual narration. It's a standalone that ends with an HEA. No cliffhanger, no cheating.

3.5 stars
Ava Erikson and Jacob Morgan bring Lani Lynn Vale's Hissy Fit, the first in the Southern Gentlemen series, to life in this audio version.
In their small town, Ezra has never noticed Raleigh. She is immediately forgettable. That is until the day she knocks over wrapping paper in. The local grocery store.
From their 'first' meeting, the story of Raleigh and Ezra is adorable. She is a complete clutz and he tries to ensure her safety. It's laugh out loud funny at parts but contains a thread of a couple of serious high school issues.
