Pam never ever disappoints. I absolutely loved Decker and the way he bit by bit helped Laynee come out of her shell. The spice, the story just everything. A very easy listen too.

Let me start by saying, I loved the duet style of the Audio!
Pam has never steered me wrong before, and this one was no exception. There was trauma healing, tension, spice... The storyline was original and the characters were loveable. This wasn't as dark as some of the other books I've read by the author. And that ending.... I didnt see coming, but im glad it did!

The narrators are absolutely perfect for this book and I’m hard to impress.
I also really enjoyed that they didn’t just switched chapters but every sentence made by a woman was narrated by a woman and vice verse.
The story itself was very entertaining and everything we can expect from Pam Godwin. Well written, interesting and lots of spice.
And that ending, I did not see it coming 🔥

I have to start by saying that I was excited about it as over the last year I’ve mainly listened to audiobooks. Plus, this was my first book by Pam Godwin, so it was a win-win. I am, however, picky with narrators, and certain accents can diminish my enjoyment of the book, and I must admit that was the case here, especially with the male voice. There was nothing wrong with how he narrated the book as he was animated and really portrayed the different emotions in the book well. It was just my personal preference concerning his accent.

In the first third of the book, I wasn’t fully sold on the characters, but as the book went on, I grew to like them and understand them better. The character development was brilliant with these two, as they both grew and learnt a lot about themselves and each other in the process.

I enjoyed that Laynee (the FMC) was 12 years older than Decker and that she was the famous one. Most of the time, it’s the other way around, with the guy being older and in a position of power, so it was refreshing to read.

Plus the spice?? Phewwww! Lots of spicy goodness!!

Loved this!! These narrators are great. Decker in particular was so well cast! Swoon! Such a fun, fast, sexy story! I loved Decker’s dominant possessiveness, but also how he empowered and protected Laynee.

I enjoyed learning both characters’ back stories, and the spicy scenes were impeccable! Pam Godwin is a wonderful author and this erotically-charged contemporary romance is everything I have come to expect from her.

I only wish it was a little longer. A lot of Decker & Laynee’s relationship developed during a short time-hop and I would have liked to hear more of that. But overall, I really enjoyed this! Thanks Pam!

This is the first book by this author I have read.
I love the age gap / celebrity romance tropes. This was a fast listen, with lots of sexy parts included.
It's not often I come across a book with the women being the one to earn more money and the man down on his luck. It was quite refreshing.
I wanted more of this couple, I felt like it was a bit rushed towards to end to wrap it up. I would have like to see them grow into their feelings a bit more.
I enjoyed the duet narration, and will be looking for more books by these narrators.
Overall it was a enjoyable listen.

I couldn't stop listening!!

I did read incentive years ago and it was done of my fav books.

However, the audio is on another level.

The speakers did the book justice. I loved how they brought the characters along.

It felt like a total different book to what I've read!!

I loved both Decker and Laney. How different there characters and attitudes were. It was interesting to see especially with two individuals with kinda opposite personalities.

As soon as I downloaded the audio of this I couldn’t turn it off! It was sooo good! I love Pam’s writing and the narrators were amazing. The premise of the book was really unique and I love how the characters were also so connected on an emotional level as well. Definitely recommend this one and can’t wait to read another book by her!

The Notting Hill idea I went into this with, doesn't last long when we find the MMC is a dominating Boxing instructor and the FMC is a movie star who contracts her relationships to keep from being hurt.

The performance for this audiobook was excellent- both narrators did a fantastic job of bringing the characters to life.

Considering this is quite a short book I found the tension between the pair good and worth the wait.

Decker is an absolute sweet heart, my favorite thing about this book was that it's layed out to be more from his pov than the FMC (even though it is duet pov) which is refreshing and really was perfect for the set up of the book.

There is two separate instances of Dubcon/ pushing the boundaries of, in the story which I wish had been touched on in conversation between the pair, because I think it would have been interesting to see them acknowledge there behaviour properly.

That a side, with all Pam Godwin books shes throws us an unexpected ending and I love that she always keeps me on my toes!

This was my first ever reverse age-gap read and I loved it! Decker and Laynee's story has so many layers and it was incredibly brought to life by Cendese and Grant.

I love Godwin's FMC's. They're resilient, strong and have a vulnerability to them that while it seems a Prince Charming comes in to save the day, realistically they've already saved themselves. It has just taken that special someone to highlight it. Laynee is no different. Having been through a trauma, she slays her demons and nothing can stop her from embracing the person she is now!

Decker is everything Laynee needs. (Definitely not what she initially wants) and he is everything you want in an Alpha male; dominant, fierce and passionate.

This story is heartbreaking at times when you're unpicking the levels of trauma that consume both characters however Godwin delivers an incredibly apt HEA. It's a fantastic read and listen.

So perfect!
