Summary
Every woman in Millie Delacroix's family is cursed - kind of. Birth control just doesn't work for them. Like ever. Going to the altar knocked up is pretty much a family tradition. The female narrator sounds like Siri - really lifeless AI not enjoyable to listen to at all. Had to stop after chapter 3

Great story, but....
I loved the story and the idea. The only problem is the female narrator. While the male narrator has variation and a softness to his voice, the female narrator is just flat. She has little to no intonation and sounds like a robot. Every time her chapters started, I almost wanted to jump forward to the male narrator's chapters instead

Lovely and cosy
The female narrator doing the love interest’s voice wasn’t great but I got over it soon. Ultimately, the book was super enjoyable and I loved the make narrator’s voice.

Great story, enjoyed it all
I really enjoyed listening to this audiobook. It didn’t go quite where I thought it would based on the blurb, but that made it better. The ending was super sweet too.
Only negative is that the female narrator wasn’t as good as the male one. At times her voice was flat and clipped, whilst at other times more animated. Poor direction rather than poor performance I’d say. Not a dealbreaker for the audiobook though.

That was a great read, and I enjoyed it! I had a little trouble getting used to the female narrator's voice, but other than that, I recommend it!

Fantastic I loved it
Great love story 2 people brought together from different cultures under really sad circumstances, I just loved the dynamics of the families, it’s a must to listen to I highly recommended it.

A very enjoyable listen 👍
I really liked this book from the start. Good characters, a nice storyline, humorous at times, and had all the love and romantic elements listeners of this genre like, without any out of place or over the top gratuitous content a lot of books now have. The narration was excellent and made everything come to life.
