Summary
I've done some stupid things in my time. I've been reckless. I've broken a few rules. But never before have I ruined so many lives or left such a trail of destruction behind me.
As Max would be the first to admit, she's never been one for rules. They tend to happen to other people. But this time she's gone too far, and everyone is paying the price. Grounded until the end of time, how can she ever put things right?

St Mary's for ever
What did you like most about Lies, Damned Lies and History?
The combination of the style of writing and the interpretation by the reader.
What did you like best about this story?
I feel I know these characters so well, I am sure I meet them on the street.
Have you listened to any of Zara Ramm’s other performances? How does this one compare?
Excellent as always.
Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Both.
Any additional comments?
I have read the entire series so far and love the way that real history, ( a subject I hated at school) is brought to life.

Highly enjoyable as always
Extremely likeable characters, funny, witty, wise, fast paced. The narration is superb. Could not stop listening until the last word. Jodi Taylor has done it again. Wonderful 👏🏼

Another Fantastic Story about the St. Mary's Crew
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I most definitely would....and have....I just adore all of the stories about St. Mary's.
What other book might you compare Lies, Damned Lies and History to, and why?
I wouldn't compare it to anything, it stands on it's own....along with all the other books in the Series....the stories always have me laughing, crying and sitting on the edge of my seat waiting to see what happens next.
Which character – as performed by Zara Ramm – was your favourite?
I love Markham and the accent she uses for him....it is exactly how I would think he would talk. It is hard to choose though because she is so extremely good at giving life to all of the characters.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
It certainly was although I do try to limit myself or I would get nothing else done!
Any additional comments?
I truly hope that Jodi Taylor never gets tired of writing about St. Mary's and it's characters because I will certainly never get tired of listening to her stories.

As good as ever
Seven books in (plus a few short stories) and life at St Mary's is still as thrilling as it was at the start of this long journey. I was a little disappointed with the final few chapters of this book, a bit of "deus ex machina" crept into the story to mar an otherwise great novel. I'm looking forward to listening to the next in the series.

Zara Ramm narrates these books so well. Great book
I just live the wit, the story and the historical info involved in everyone of Jodi Taylor’s st Mary’s escapades. There is every emotion invoked in the stories and you learn to care for these characters. There is much amusement involved in telling the stories and wit throughout

Hahahahaha! <Gasp> Hahahahaha!
I have literally just finished listening to the audiobook of this title and for the first time, since I started this series, I can say, I thoroughly enjoyed it! Not necessarily from start to finish, but certainly towards the end and the last few chapters - with the exception of one incident - is absolutely hilarious!
Absolutely.
Hilarious.
I am looking forward to the next series, because I have to work something out.
This, was a good book. The narration was perfect.

Not enough
I must've been spoilt because I've come to expect a bit more from these books I'm afraid – the story just felt a bit lacking and a bit short. What was there was great, but it just wasn't as much somehow as the previous books. I also thought the ending was rather week I'm afraid. I've given it five stars across the board because as always it's good, it's just not quite as good as the others
