Twists, turns and the cliffhanger....
Oh, this second book the twists, the steam, the rollercoaster, I was shocked by the cliffhanger so I now I am listening to the third book.
Kirill is not a monster, I mean he counts the times they had sex...and Sasha, I love her. She stands firm in front of Kirill, she is possessive and he chose him above her family how she chose him, trusts him.
The duet narration is perfect, Sebastian York and Brooke Daniels brought to live once again Kirill and Sasha, and if I heard well there is one scene when Sebastian almost chuckles while performing- maybe was my imagination- but I heard it. Still perfect.
Looking forward to listening to Brooke Daniels more as I love her voice.

Thrilling
A lot is revealed in this book, but it feels like just as many questions are added by the end of it. I've really grown to love these characters, even in their most twisted moments, and can't wait to see where book three takes them.
This series continues to be a heavy hitter of an audiobook. The duet narration does such an amazing job of bringing this story to life and adding so much emotion to the story to really make you feel like you're a part of it. Highly suggest diving into this one!

Absolutely devoured this!!!
4.5/5 stars
OMG I ABSOLUTELY DEVOURED THIS! This audiobook was a wild ride and I listened to it in one sitting. I couldn't put it down. I was entirely hooked. After the cliffhanger ending to Blood of my Monster, I knew that I needed to get to this one as soon as it released and it did not disappoint. Of course this one also ended in a GINORMOUS cliffhanger and I don't know why Rina always does this to us but I'm once again itching for book 3 because I need answers!!!
This book is wild from start to finish. There isn't a single dull or slow moment. It's fast paced, action packed and full of tension both political and sexual. There are so many twists and turns and I love the direction that Rina has taken with Sasha's and Kirill's story, even if I'm a lot scared right now...
I love Sasha's character, she's so incredibly strong and an absolute badass. Do I wish she was more vocal at times? Yes I do, but I acknowledge then the story wouldn't go the way it does. The miscommunication trope isn't my favourite and while it's not in this in full force, there are elements of it but it does result in a jawdropping ending so I'll give it a pass!
Once again I LOVE how possessive and OBSESSED Kirill is with Sasha. He is the definition of touch her and you die. And you know what's better, he doesn't want to love her... ooof the angst and sexual tension is *chef's kiss*. The spicy scenes are immaculate. Rina knows what she's doing but that's no surprise.
You can find me desperately waiting for book 3.

Dark Mafia Romance
Lies of My Monster by Rina Kent is a dark mafia romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Sebastian York and Brooke Daniels. This is the second book in the Monster Trilogy.
I love Rina's books! She does an amazing job pulling me into the story and making me fall in love with the characters. The relationship between Sasha and Krill is messy but you can't help but root for them. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of view throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.
The book ended on a amazing cliffhanger that left me begging for more. I can't wait to grab the next book in the series Heart of My Monster to get the rest of their story.
Sebastian and Brooke did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would recommend this book if you like dark romances, mafia romances, or romantic suspense.

This book leaves you wanting more!
The second book in this instalment had me on the edge of my seat. A lot of drama and secrets still hidden beneath the surface that will hopefully come to light in the third and final book. You can expect a lot of back and forth between the two and although some scenes are repetitive it leaves you wanting more.
The performances from both narrators was exceptional as always and I absolutely love the duet style it worked so well. Both Sebastian and Brooke play off each other very well.
Overall the storytelling experience was great and the book itself will keep you wanting to learn more about what Sasha and Kirill are both hiding. There is a good balance between the spice and over arching plot but it is on the darker side so please check trigger warnings.

A Dark Mafia Romance
This is the second book in the Monster Trilogy, a Dark Mafia Romance. This series is interconnected with the Deception Trilogy (Adrian Volkov and Winter's story), and the Throne Duet (Rai Sokolov and Kyle Hunter's story). Kirill and Sasha's story is captivating! Kirill is enigmatic, and powerful. Sasha is a beautiful character, naive, strong, and determined. The world building is original, and enthralling. I liked the twists and turns. The story ends with an unpredictable cliffhanger, and I am looking forward to listening to Heart of My Monster, the next book in the trilogy, to know what happens next. Sebastian York and Brooke Daniels did an outstanding job bringing this story to life. I enjoyed it. If you like Dark Mafia Romance, this series is for you. I highly recommend it.

What a cliffhanger! I need more!!!
Holy Monsters! Just when I thought things were going good, Rina Kent throws in a wrench I don't see coming! This is book two in her Monster Trilogy and it is phenomenal. It picks up where we left off from book one, and things are not in the best of places. Not knowing who to trust, but having to make a choice, Sasha follows her heart. But with the injuries Kirill has, he is thinking twice about his own choices. Will Sasha win his trust back? Are Kirill's feelings strong enough to stay with her and keep her secret? Well, things never go as planned, and Kirill and Sasha's future is now at risk. With a twist that changes everything, Kent has left me hanging on the edge. I don't know what to believe, who to believe and what to do next! Bring on the conclusions! I need to know how it all plays out.
Sebastian York and Brooke Daniels continue their amazing duet narration of this story. Between accents and characters, these two have mastered the characters, pulled me in and kept me captivated. I can only imagine where they are taking me next.
