Summary

I’m going to die on this cliff with only a bobcat kitten for company.

I’m sure of it until the hottest man I’ve ever seen swoops in and makes me leap.

Eli’s made for danger, and he dedicates his life to finding desperately stranded hikers like me.

He’s too perfect to be true.

I’ve fallen hard before and ended up bruised and battered.

I have to resist him.

Not easy when we’re stuck in a tiny tent waiting for rescue.

Somehow, I’m in even more trouble than before.

Can I rescue his heart?

I didn’t think my day would end stuck at the bottom of a cliff with a cute guy like Wyatt.

I’m not complaining.

But he’s fresh out of a relationship, and we’re in danger from the elements.

It’s not the right time to even think about anything more than flirtation.

No matter how much I want to put my hands on his body.

By the time we’re safe, I know Wyatt better than I know my brothers.

Can what we’ve developed survive outside the shelter of the forest?

Lost and Found is a 65,000 word standalone m/m romance featuring two guys forced together on an adventure who find love along the way.

Ok story with good narration

The story was just OK for me - the miscommunication between Wyatt and Eli, (some of it due to insecurities on Eli's part), was a bit tiresome.
I enjoyed the rescue and the hike to safety - there was chemistry between the 2 men. Eli's family and the animals all made for an interesting story.
Though part of a series, it can be enjoyed as a standalone (I haven't read/listened to book 1).
Joseph Thorson made it an interesting experience. While he didn't really differentiate between most of the characters all that much, he had a nice voice and enjoyed listening to him.

Great series

I'm really enjoying this series so far. I love the premise with all 7 brothers living in one renovated building and all of them being first responders. Wyatt and Eli were adorable together, and I loved how the animals they each had brought them together. This was very sweet.

Brill

This is a brilliant book which I really enjoyed listening to and following Eli and Wyatt as they bond when they are stuck out in the wilderness. Miscommunication as well as past feelings affect their relationship.

Really enjoyed it. Want more history.

I loved this story, and Eli and Wyatt, Uno and Scrabble. The way the relationship developed seemed natural and realistic. I love the way Eli was so casual about doing what needed to be done in the beginning to get warm (shedding all the clothes!) and the way he tried to stay professional. There is a lot of misunderstanding after they get rescued and a bit of a red herring that didn't go anywhere with the ex-boyfriend, but the support of Eli's brothers was great. I would like to have more history, but I love this series. I can't wait to hear more about Braxton. The narration was great, This was a new narrator for me, but he really did a good job.

Found and rescued!

Eli and Wyatt meet in the most scary way. Wyatt lost in the woods and stranded down a cliff. Eli finds him and then there were two. I enjoyed their journey. I love Eli’s loving and protective brothers, the wild cat, the adopted kitties. Eli could’ve been more assertive with Wyatt but they find their rhythm. I have to go find book one to have a better grasp at this series. Awesome narration by Mr Thorson.

Sweet story

Having already listened to volume 1 of the Vanguard Tower series, I was eagerly anticipating "Lost and Found."
Wyatt wants to clear his head after the sudden end of his relationship with his ex. He is therefore taking a hike to a park when he hears cries for help from a bobcat kitten. While rescuing it, Wyatt crashes and when he doesn't return as planned, they start looking for him. Eli, who we already know from volume 1, sets out with his dog Uno, but in Wyatt's rescue he gets into trouble himself.

Exposed to the elements in the wilderness, the two grow closer. I liked the chemistry between the two, they can talk to each other, but they can also be silent with each other. They don't know how or when they will be rescued, yet they make the best of the situation. The bobcat kitten Scabble and the dog Uno are absolutely adorable.
I absolutely loved the setting, as I like series with search and rescue teams. The characters were well drawn and you get into the story quickly.
What I didn't like so much, however, was Eli's behavior after returning. More communication would have definitely helped and this back and forth rather annoyed me a bit.

What did please me was the reunion with Eli's brothers, who are already known from the first volume. I like the dynamic of the family living in Vanguard Tower and I'm already looking forward to more stories from the brothers.

This audiobook was provided to me as a free review copy upon request, this is my honest review

Joseph Thornton narrated the audiobook and he did a good job. His voice and pace are comfortable and overall his performance was okay. You could tell the characters apart, but I would have liked him to convey the emotions better.

I recommend this audiobook and I am looking forward to "Body and Soul".

Amazing

Super addition to the series by Aiden Bates. Getting lost in the woods has never sounded more appealing. Joseph Thorson did a fantastic job with the narration. Now we must wait till the next brother gets his HEA.
