💯% Easy & Enjoyable Read
When in a book slump, l whip this out and it feels like l am wearing my comfortable joggers. I like the characterisation, dialogue and the concerns of these men. The explicit scenes are titillating without filler or redundant inner monologuing detracting from the erotic flow. Lucas | Andrei are a great MM pairing but Snow | Jude are fire!! For me though, the Snow | Lucas found family bond is lovingly drawn and my emotional draw to the Unbreakables.
🎧 Kenneth Obi accurately sets the vibe, atmosphere and the very sexy times. The narrator curses well and l can't articulate why this strikes me every time 🤭. Women sound convincingly female and he does express the author's directions, which l like. However, his characterisations are unreliable, most obviously with Andre who loses his accent along the way and shifts between Lucas' bass and Rowe's tenor. The typical Obi Specials are in play viz. slow and OTT bass (Lucas, Snow); fast, higher pitched vocals (women, Ian), whine (Jude, Rowe) and nasal twang (Banner, Rowe). As always, he pauses a beat too long when switching characters and its just Kenneth. This performance is enthusiastic and entertaining and suits me just fine!
