About this listen

Atlanta is a city plagued by magical problems. Kate Daniels will fight to solve them - no matter the cost....

Mercenary Kate Daniels and her mate, Curran, the Beast Lord, are struggling to solve a heartbreaking crisis. Unable to control their beasts, many of the pack’s shape-shifting children fail to survive to adulthood. While there is a medicine that can help, the secret to its making is closely guarded by the European packs, and there’s little available in Atlanta.

Kate can’t bear to watch innocents suffer, but the solution she and Curran have found threatens to be even more painful. The European shape-shifters who once outmaneuvered the Beast Lord have asked him to arbitrate a dispute - and they’ll pay him in medicine. With the young people’s survival and the pack’s future at stake, Kate and Curran know they must accept the offer - but they have little doubt that they’re heading straight into a trap....

I really like this one. Never gets boring, I re-listen to the whole series again and again, before a new book comes out, and this one is one of my favourite.
Action packed, great plot and awesome characters.

Great

Kate and Caran get dragged into European politics as they are offered a chance to cure loopisium in infants and juvenile if they hard a pregnant wolf who is having twins from different fathers. Lots of fighting and manoeuvring going on in this one with Kate feeling very isolated. Read brilliantly again by Renee Raudman.

A fabulous story in this ongoing series. The world of Kate and Curran is fraught with danger, suspense and magic. Each book draws you in more and more. Wonderful narration too

Amazing book

Book six in the Kate Daniels series is the same well written, action packed wonder of thought out ideas as the first four. The same wonderful characters. But still, something is amiss. Maybe the light humor in the former books has given way to the more engulfing problem in this installment? Or, as Audible does not sell book 5 in series in my region, and I missed out on a whole book in the between, I might just be out of tempo with the series. Even the narrator sounds a bit different to me than in book 4. What ever it is, I might have to find my reading glasses and book five in series elsewhere :) Actually, I might have to buy book six too. As the names of the side line baddies in this one sounded a bit too similar.

Listening to book 5, before 6, might be a must
