Summary

Say yes to what matters by saying no to what doesn’t!

If you’re like most people, saying no probably makes you feel uncomfortable. Eventually, you will feel overwhelmed by all the things you said yes to but didn’t really want to do. This can lead to unnecessary stress and anxiety, ruined relationships, a lack of identity, and burnout.

All of these could have been avoided if you had just said no. But that’s easier said than done, especially since there are emotions and social expectations involved in all our interactions. So, how do you say no when it makes you (and, maybe, others) feel bad?

In Master of the Arts: Excel at Saying No, you will discover:

  • How to set healthy boundaries with close friends, family, and romantic partners without feeling guilty about it
  • A simple change in wording that will make it less challenging to refuse someone who asks you for a favor
  • How to respond to your boss without sounding like you’re avoiding additional work or shirking from your responsibilities
  • Seven common mistakes that could backfire on you when trying to politely turn down an invitation or refuse a request
  • The sneaky tactics people use to manipulate you that make it harder for you to say no and how you can recognize and deftly counter them
  • And much more

There’s no need to be afraid of sounding harsh or seeming selfish. You don’t have to change your personality or how you deal with people. You just have to shift your mindset and your priorities. It’s not about saying no to others; it’s about saying yes to yourself.

Find out what’s truly important to you and say yes to only these things. You’ll find yourself with a lot more time to focus on what really matters in your life.

If you want to take back control of your life by saying no without feeling bad about it, then you need this audiobook today!

This book is a work of art

This book is can be viewed as a build off to Greg McKeown's Essentialism. In his book he doesn't dive that deep into how to say no, leaving me wanting more. That's where this book came in handy. I found myself devouring it like santa eating Christmas cookies. The narrator is very good and the author really knows their stuff. The information is priceless and for the price you're almost getting this great knowledge for free. Give this book a listen!

A great life lesson

I wouldn't say that I struggle with this all the time but even as someone who would not describe themselves as a people pleaser this book has taught me that it is okay to be a bit more selfish and say no sometimes. many a time saying 'yes' has just added to my already stressful life and made me sad and I am glad that I am going to start saying 'no' more often

How to say no

I was captured by the title of this book.
It was really what I needed to finally take the driver's seat of my life.
In my job, I always tried to take all the jobs that people were given to me, but that is not the right way to behave, I was just scared by what could have been happened if I'd said "no".
There is just a better way to answer to people without feeling guilty about it.
excellent audiobook and topic

No, it’s No. Don’t feel guilty

This audiobook is very interesting. I am a person who likes to please, but sometimes I get manipulated. Whether it's my girlfriend or my family. I feel bad for saying no, and even if I say no, they ask again and again for me to say yes.

So, I bought this book. The narrator has a beautiful voice to listen to. I liked the sneaky tactics people use to manipulate you offer in the book. I will use them. This book is full of information to help you say no and not feel bad. I'll let you discover them for yourself.

If you're like me, I highly recommend you to listen to this audiobook or read the book. thanks to the author for writing this book and helping people say no.

Start getting comfortable with setting boundaries

I think the ability to set healthy boundaries in your life is the best one to master. For some, it's easier than for others, and this is why this book comes in so handy, to give helpful tips on how to navigate different scenarios. The first NOs are always the hardest, but it gets more and more comfortable afterward, getting out of your comfort zone for a bit is well worth it on the long term!
