Something eerie happened to us that night.

It was supposed to be a road trip to reconnect with my younger sister. We weren’t getting any younger and life had thrown us a few curves lately. Like her divorce and my…well, I’m not getting into that.

Just two days into the trip, (getting lost, but that’s beside the point!) our world tipped off its axis. It began that frightening morning when we woke up, still sitting in the front cab of the RV. We were never the same women after that.

Maren can levitate things with just a thought, now. She freaked, ready to abandon ship…or in this case the rig. With a logical "Vulcan" mind like Spock, it doesn’t compute and totally unnerves her.When we stumble onto a colony of Fae, and some other mystical beings, I realize we aren’t alone on this spinning blue planet. There’s a lot more to this world than I ever dreamed.

Fae? Elves? Werewolves? Oh. My. God. Bring it on! I’m all in!

Except some of the Fae aren’t too friendly. And there’s a sexy Vampire who’s not keen on helping us or the cadre of Mythicals when we get embroiled in a Fae rebellion. A freaking rebellion where Maren gets kidnapped to be some kind of "bait"! This road trip changed our lives. That is, if we survive.

I loved the narration of Jennifer Pickens, she brings out the fun, the sisters relationship and magic .

Sisters' Kara and Maren take off on an RV road trip to escape their problems for a while. They find themselves waking up, and missing three days. Maren finds out she has now has magical powers, it takes Kara a few days later finds hers. They release that they have encounter werewolves, fairies, vampires and aliens! Loved the sisters relationship.
