Loved this right from the start so passionate soooo heart wrenching i have cried listening the narrator the passion in her voice at times broke me was intrigued right from the start loved the 1st book but this one wow id love more about these two such lovely characters

I was reluctant to buy this, why on earth would I want a world where they didn't get together in the end of the last book...but I was so wrong. I enjoyed this sooooo much, and yes it meant they weren't together for 13 years but it actually makes sense and it was a really great book where I actually liked Charlottle and Sutton more than previously, especially Charlotte, as the people they grew into without each other.

I tandem read with audio, as it’s Lori Prince, so why wouldn’t I. She did an amazing job as always. This book broke me and put me back together again, Lori seriously puts so much emotion into this book, it makes me feel all the emotions the characters are feeling, that’s a true gift! So, needed to give some appreciation to Lori with my review! Because she truly is so talented and brings these books to life! This IS acting, not just narration.

Ahhhh!!! God I ADORE Sutton and Charlotte. Those Who Wait was the first book of Haley Cass’ that I read. So to get more of them, amazing!
Sutton taking control in this book is everything I didn’t know I needed! Yes, the prologue nearly had me crying my eyes out! But I loved every minute of this book.

I've read this on Patreon, I've read the physical book and I've now listened to the audio book 3 times since it came out 4 days ago. I cannot get enough of these 2 characters . This book made me laugh, it made me cry and it made me so happy that they have another chance at a happy ending. I will buy and read every cass book because she is a fantastic writer. Lori does an amazing job at voicing these characters too. Absolute perfection.

Another absolute gem from Haley! Haley is by far my favourite author. I adore all her books. I was a little frustrated at first with Sutton blowing hot and cold with Charlotte. But the romantic scenes were sooooo romantic and had me tears over and over again. it was truly beautiful. I love and adore Sutton and Charlotte. More please! I have to say that Lori did a phenomenal job on this one. Her acting skills brought the characters to life so beautifully. Highly recommend ❤️

I am not finished with the book yet but damn, this is heartbreaking! LP has voice it so well as expected though.

When I first read this I was irritated with what I perceived as Sutton constantly moving the goal posts but having listened to the audible version I understand it more and I loved it. It became clearer to me that it was about true commitment and honesty being thoroughly being explored and I loved their journey and appreciated it much more till they get to a place where there is trust and complete certainty. Rachel Lacey is very good at exploring all the nuancing of these characters, the flaws and their doubts but also their unwavering commitment to making their relationship the best it can be.

This book is such an emotional rollercoaster! I just love these characters so much and I really hoped this book would be just as amazing as the first, and it 100% was! I really don’t want to leave this world. Haley Cass is simply an exceptional writer.

I never planned to buy this audiobook. The idea of an alternate reality of two characters who already got their happily ever after ending, from the same author even, just seemed pointless to me. Why not make new characters with a new setting and story and put in time and effort into that? After reading Haley Cass's Patreon chapters of Charlotte and Sutton, why would i want to experience a book where all that content never happened? But with time my curiosity grew. So i decided to try it, expecting to quickly DNF it to be honest. And then the Prologue happened. My heart ached and the hook was in.

Turns out im an idiot who should just blindly give Haley all my money when possible and never doubt in her again. Okay yeah. This is one of her best books. If we are ever lucky enough to get an adaptation of Haley Cass's romance books to TV or Movie, i honestly hope the first half would be an adaptation of Those Who Wait (with some slimming and editing, get rid of the bloat imo) and the second half being this entire book. This book just feels so right, like its the natural conclusion of Charlotte and Suttons story, not an alternative one. How did Haley Cass create a timeline that i had no interest in, and now i kinda want it to be the only one!?

With time and the circumstances of this story the changes in Charlotte and Sutton are so perfectly shown! It doesn't feel forced, but the natural progression of these two. I love this version of Sutton so much more than the original tbh. and LUCY! my god i'm sad thinking that presumably, this is the last we will see of her? That just hurts my heart. Charlotte is still a favourite of mine, but especially here i loved her attitude towards Sutton!

So. If you are like me of the past, unsure of liking the concept of this book, but also a fan of Haley Cass's writing. Do it. Give it the chance. The idea of a me that hadn't done so? oof i pity that fool.

I truly enjoyed this book, honestly I did. The development the characters have gone through is believable and well written. I understand it’s an alternative to the original story line, but I can’t help but feel robbed on Charlottes behalf. Despite the epilogue, and her explanation, I just can’t get over what Charlotte gave up, and the reason behind that decision. I just can’t settle with it. Despite the ending, this book has left me a little sad. Overall, the story was great, well written, funny, heart wrenching. Everything you expect from Haley Cass.
