Summary
Lead me not into temptation...
Easier said than done when your name is Deacon Jacobs and temptation is your drug of choice. The woman with a broken soul shouldn’t even have registered on his radar, but a wolf wants what a wolf wants. Sparks fly between the feisty female and the arrogant wolf, but Gemma got caught in the Midnight Pack’s crossfire once before, and now, all she wants is to forget.
A familiar enemy resurfaces, but all is not as it seems, and the pack closes ranks to face what could be their toughest challenge yet. The risks are daunting, but Deacon will gamble everything, including his life, to ensure Gemma’s safety.

Highly recommended
Audiobook read. Hooked on this series.
Midnight Temptation is the second book and would definitely be better if you’ve read Midnight Touch first. This is Deacon and Gemma’s story. Both of them are the siblings of the characters in book one. At the end of Midnight Touch Gemma has had a traumatic time and the chemistry she felt with Deacon is broken. Now the pair have to work out a way to move forward while still keeping their eyes on the past.
This is a steamy read. It’s about shifter wolfs and involves the community. It’s about finding the right person to heal all wounds. There are some interesting characters including villains. Gemma has some internal demons to overcome as well as a side of her to accept. I really enjoyed the twists and turns.
I had a break between book one and two which made me appreciate how much I’ve liked the world L Ann has created. I won this in a competition with no obligation to review. The author has a clear voice and tries to add feeling. Mike Peterman is growing on me.

Interesting
I found the story and the characters interesting. Though I was put off by the fact that all the voices sounded the same apart from Isabella. If was a minor inconvenience in the grand scheme of things.

Great!
Fast paced, suspenseful and dramatic and exciting. The story line continues from the first book. The subject matter is a bit dark at times but the humour and romance really lightens the tone. It had me laughing out loud quite a lot. I loved how the author poked fun at the romance genre. She has a wicked sense of humour! I'm really enjoying this series and looking forward to the next book.
I voluntarily reviewed an advance reading audio copy.

Midnight Temptation
Wow! This book starts off right where the first ended and we get the next brother’s story and mate. So much pain and strength is shown in this book with all the characters. I can only imagine what will be coming next in the final book of this series.

The mystery continues!!
Things are not what they seem!
The midnight pack have a way to go in understanding what’s really going on. This book is a continuation of midnight touch. The book pretty much picks up where the first left off, so be sure to read Midnight touch first.
Deacon and Gemma’s story, is a great battle of wills that will have you going from laughing to swooning in a matter of a few lines.
The issues raised were sensitively done and did not dominate the story as a whole.
You still get those little snippets of what’s about to come in the next book, which I can’t wait to read I’m sure Mac’s story is going to be just as hot as the the rest.
The narrator really does a fantastic job of Deacon’s story.
He has managed to give this character a great voice. I just love his enthusiasm for the story, you just know he’s having fun reading it.
I can’t wait for Midnight Torment the next book in this series to be released.
I was given a copy of this audiobook for an honest review

Midnight Temptation
This is the second book in the series overlapping some of the previous book focusing more on one of the other brothers story and continuing it. Shape shifting wolfs how's pack is under attack by hunters and one of there own? Mysteries and truths revealed, while trying to be there for someone who has been through an offal ordeal and he is also facing his own emotions. The story is well read and there is still more to come in the story. Like the other book there is explicit sexaul seens in the story, which is part of the shapeshifter nature.

Love this series
Deacon is fabulous his sarcasm is epic but Gemma tells him and anyone else who will listen to her that she hates him. However Deacons not giving up and goes out of his way to annoy Gemma ,it’s his way of showing her he likes her. Loved listening to this and couldn’t help laughing at Deacon 😂
