About this listen

A devastating attack by the lich Quatach-Ichl has left Zorian and Zach reeling as their remaining restarts tick away.

As they recover, they make preparations for their final confrontations with Red Robe, the lich, the primordial being, and the invaders—all within the shadow of a question they can’t answer: can Zorian and Zach both survive outside the time loop?

When the time loop is broken, sacrifices will be made, bonds will be tested, and trust will be more important than any magical skill or power—and even then, success is not guaranteed.

But unbeknownst to his allies, Zorian made another plan in secret…

Loved it

Having finished this series feels akin to finishing Harry Potter as a child, having grown attached to the characters (and the narrator!) over time. Such a joy. I’ll come back and “start over” again in a year or so.

Perfect ending, stellar narration

Wow wow wow. What a perfect way to close this story in a believable and meaningful way that still let's us have a reason to revisit this world some day, but also firmly closing this adventure. Loved it, one of my top reads of the last few years and will sternly recommend!! Make it into a video game plz!

Excellent continuation

Fantastic continuation of the story. Could have been twice the length though. No complaints from me

What an excellent story

I very much enjoyed listening to all 4 parts. The start of book 1 was a real slog as Zorian is a whiny self-obsessed teenager. The growth over the 4 books is very rewarding and well worth continuing all the way. The plots made sense overall.

I enjoyed the performance by Jack Voraces, the voices were sufficient distinct I knew who was speaking at almost all times even without all the "Zorian said" and similar. The pacing was good and the diction made it all understandable.

just an amazing series

I've already left reviews on the series but, I loved just about every moment of these books. There was little idea how EVERY interaction was going to go and things changed in very understandable ways, but not always in foreseen ways.

Wow - a serialised story that satisfies!

Many stories that originate as a series or podcast never end - they’re designed to roll on and on without completion. Mother of Learning in contrast is a satisfying read - the original story ends! - but leaves the reader waiting for more.
