About this listen
A full-cast holiday romance extravaganza performed by duet by Jason Clarke and Samantha Brentmoor and with a full cast of your favorite narrators including Andi Arndt, Connor Crais, Vanessa Edwin, Andi Eloise, Teddy Hamilton, Erin Mallon, Noah B. Perez, Shakira Shute and Ryan West!
Wanted: one hot billionaire to pose as my Christmas boyfriend. Must be willing to make my cheating ex jealous when you kiss me under the mistletoe at all the holiday parties. Bonus points if you make him cry.
To my surprise my billionaire boss is more than up for the challenge of coming down the chimney as my holiday boyfriend. The sexy single dad desperately needs a plus one at a Christmas Eve wedding, where he’s the best man and I’m the maid of honor.
And since my ex is in the wedding party too, my boss and I team up as a pair of insta-lovebirds for the holiday season, including during the annual week-long Christmas competition leading up to the snowy destination wedding.
But soon staying up late to string the best popcorn balls ever turns into a scorching night in his arms where the chestnuts aren’t the only thing roasting on the open fire.
Can all these winter wonderland nights seeking revenge turn into the real thing when we return to the office? Or are we destined to go the way of a Christmas tree on New Year’s?

Wilder & Fable
HoHoHo, smexy Xmas season has arrived.
Wilder and Fable’s romance has been brewing for several books now… stolen glances, light flirtation, banter galore. Fake dating here is done so well!!
Jason Clarke and Samantha Brentmoor, together with a star studded cast of incredible narrators brought this book to life.

The perfect book to get in the holiday spirit!
I love it, I love it, I love it! This book had me giddy and laughing so much, I just couldn’t stop listening to it. Wilder and Fable are both amazing people, their pasts making it hard to trust in love. It was great to see them scared, trying to fight the inevitable. They’re so good together, that even they couldn’t keep ignoring the connection. The setting of the Christmas games was so much fun, and I loved that the characters from the other books were there as well!
I’m a broken record when it comes to Lauren’s books, but the audio was amazing! Jason Clarke and Samantha Brentmoor knocked it out of the park (oops, wrong sport), and the full cast for the other characters was the icing on the cake. It was almost like listening to a radio play, and it made everything even better!

This was so much fun! Perfect Christmas vibes.
The cast brought it to life and the characters were sweet 🩷 Wilder getting her a private paint and sip night with her friends, because she was going to miss it for his event and then booking them a dinner reservation at a restaurant andddd a hotel room if they wanted to make it a girls night 🥵🥹 That’s so hot man - i was obsessed, If i man did that for me and friends id fold

Lovely interpretation, bland story
Oh, the audiobook is great. The voices are amazing, and it is a really good listen. Now, story wise, not so great. I mean, it’s full of fluff, corny, a huge cheese fest, super predictable, and even the small drama seems forced. Terrible. I mean, it you need light in your life, this is definitely that, but a good story it is not.

Corny, but just what I need in my life
In the words of Kate Winslet in The Holiday “I like corny. I’m looking for corny in my life.”
I loved diving into this book, it was just what I needed. I turned my brain off, smiled at the characters and wished I had some of that corny in my life.
Take this book as its intended, light romantic fantasy, and you will enjoy the experience.
Thanks Lauren 🩷
