Summary

Really enjoyed this book
A good holiday read! Loved the narration and the plot .. if you’re looking for something easy on the ear with a good story then I think you’ll enjoy this book!!

Really enjoyable listen
This was a good story and I really liked the narrator. From the very first chapter I was hooked and didn’t want to stop listening.

Obvious plot and awful characters
Really disliked all the characters and guessed most of the ‘plot twists’ well in advance. The narrator was good at differentiating between the characters, but they were all so awful it was at times painful to listen. It helped pass the time on my commute but I wasn’t desperate to get back to it each time. There are better books out there.

Great twists
a slow, almost mundane start led to an interesting middle with tales of the different lives and their secrets then was followed by explosive twists leading to a good finale. not a grab me, really can't put down story until the last chapters but I did enjoy it. the performance was very good.

Thoroughly enjoyed it.
I read the first review which said ‘’Don’t Bother’ but I was glad I ignored it. The story was gripping and absorbing and well written. I couldn’t wait to start listening every time I went back to it.

Dragged myself to the end, it’s was….ok!
Liked the story, could envisage as a film, but didn’t enjoy the narration- didn’t seem to work with with the characters described in the book, wished at read it rather than listened to it as an audio production
