Facts
I actually got what i expected from this book. The length of the book almost put me off but after taking time to listen i discovered it was well narrated and the time actually fits. I love the introduction, actually got me prepared for every chapter of the book.

This is a reliable book
There is a lot of hope from this book for those looking at learning mythology. The very different stories made the changes and positive effects you can expect while learning. You can trust the information written in this book

Love the stories
However I am disappointed that the Norse section seems to, literally be a copy of Neil Gainman’s Norse Mythology and would’ve liked some different myths to be told.

My 10 year old has listened to this 4 times…so far!!
If you’re interested in Greek Gods….and want to know as much as possible about the Mythological world…then my son would recommend this! He quotes from it, shares his knowledge and falls asleep most nights with this to accompany him! Move over Percy Jackson…you were just the tip of the iceberg…my son has discovered what lies beneath your adventures…and wants more!!!

Well researched, poorly written
Information available is detailed, but put together badly. During the Greek mythology section, the writer changes between the Greek and Roman names. Some sentences are repetitive e.g. during the Trojan war section the writer uses "spear" several times in one long run-on sentence, which comes across as unedited or proof read. Some stories are also stated as fact or as the only version, despite offering a less accepted or well known iteration of a myth. The performance isn't great to be honest - stilted and uncomfortable which suggests an orator unpractised at telling tales.

Well written and informative
This audio book is a great way to get to know about the different mythologies that have existed in our world over thousands of years. Whilst it doesn't have everything, it covers important myths and encourages you to find d more. The performances were excellent and it was a well researched and we'll written book.

mixed bag!
wonderful stories but real issues with the narration and grammar! A real mixed bag of cracking myths and a problematic recording and realisation into spoken word!

I loved these books
Absolutely fascinating for me and brilliantly narrated. The Mesopatamium stories were my favourite. Very happy I bought this.
