Full of Great Information
I have been experiencing gut issues for the last few years and was looking for a way to help myself, more naturally. I found this book to be very informative and helpful. First off - I had no idea how a plant qualified to be considered medicinal and I really liked the explanation. I appreciate how the book is broken up by different herbs so you can easily find what you are looking for, it made the book easy to navigate. The narration is upbeat and enjoyable to listen to. And the included PDF is a great bonus - definitely going to use this over and over. Overall this book is well written and researched - highly recommend.

Fabulous Listen
I just finished listening to Natural Herbal Medicine: Evidence-Based Medicinal Plants For Gut Health: Easy Edible Herbal Remedies Supported By Science: Digestive, IBS & Gut Healing With Anti-Inflammatory Alkaline Herbs And Plants, and I really found everything about it most interesting. I liked Chapter 2, Some Surprising Ways Your Gut Affects Your Body Health. It amazed me to find out that our natural gut flora is not just for breaking down food, but it also absorbs nutrients, kills damaging bacteria in food, neutralizes toxins, regulates hormones, and helps fight infections. Highly recommend if you are looking for natural herbal ways to improve your gut health!

Great data AND recipes!!
What a great listen, and a great narrator. What sold me on the book - listen - was the 20 easily available plants and what they can do for me. When will people wake up and take advantage of the power of nature? Several years ago I was challenged to go to the grocery store and NOT buy anything with more than 5 ingredients listed on the package... what a wake up call. But I am SO much healthier and happier for it. This book confirms what I have learned in these last years and the recipes in the back are GREAT. The recipes especially are easy to use because the author provided a free PDF with the audiobook. Thanks!!

Great learning tool for such important information
I knew a little bit about the subject but this book really wowed me with the easy to follow delivery of such in-depth information. The narrator also did a great job. I appreciate how it's all science-backed knowledge as well. My dad is an old-school MD which is hilarious because he thinks so much of this is, in his words, "hocus-pocus" so the fact that the facts provided in this book are backed by evidence, he was actually open to hearing about it. I feel like we all have to start paying so much more attention to our gut health and this book is a fantastic place to start!

Really informative!
While I already have some knowledge of things that can help gut health and the importance of having a healthy gut, I learnt a lot more with this book! It is written and narrated well and is great for anyone wanting to learn natural ways to improve gut health. Was really interesting learning about common digestive disorders and how to manage them with 20 easily available herbs and plants to achieve better gut health. Also liked that the author added cons with them and who they are not recommended for.
