Informative

I really liked this book because it's super simple and practical. It's an easy, no-nonsense audiobook, and it breaks down how IBS messes with various body parts. I found the info about foods and their effects, plus the suggestions on new stuff to try and what to dodge, pretty cool. It's like a useful guide you can keep coming back to, and you can totally see that they put in a bunch of research into making it. Highly recommended!

Great info!

I've known gut health was important, but I didn't know what to do about it. This book is chock full of helpful suggestions and information, and I've already started making positive changes because of it. The chapters on food intolerances were especially helpful. Eye-opening book about Gut Health!

This book let me know how important gut health really is to overall functioning and especially when you consider the gut - brain connection. Digestive problems can be dealt with, with a little knowledge, time and attention. I learned about gut-friendly foods that have the side benefit of making you feel satisfied. Love that. Lots of lifestyle tips that if used consistantly can really help digestive problems. Overall, an informative, practical and useful book to have. Highly recommend!

Informative and Explanatory Book

The author has done a great job of explaining how the digestive system works and the impact the microbiome has on it. She delves into the most common gut issues, the signs to look for, and the causes. She reiterates that no two people are alike, so what might work for one may not work for another person. I like how she presents the causes and effects of certain foods on your gut and how you identify those that are problematic to you. I found it very interesting that athletes have twice as much good gut flora as the average person. If you consistently suffer from issues, this is the book for you!
