Summary

New York Times and #1 Audible bestselling author, Jeremy Robinson, explores an alternate reality in which the events of Project Nemesis, soon to be a TV series from Chad Stahelski (director of John Wick 1-4) and Sony Pictures Television, played out very differently, creating a horrific and thrilling new world where sacrifice and vengeance are part of everyday life.

From the ashes of a devastated Boston, a harrowing legend emerges. Thirteen years prior, the colossal kaiju, Nemesis, ravaged the city in her relentless pursuit of retribution. Today, mankind's survival teeters on the sacrificial offerings atop a chilling monolith known as The Altar, where the condemned pay the ultimate price to prevent Nemesis's wrath from consuming humanity.

Agent Graham, a grizzled operative on the brink of retirement, finds himself tethered to the fiery, untested Agent Tilly. Together, they are the unlikeliest of partners within the Nemesis Special Operations group, the government's first line of defense against the looming shadow of the massive Goddess of Vengeance. Their mission? To hunt down the enigmatic cult, Divine Retribution, before they can harness the devastating power of Nemesis to reshape the world to their warped sense of righteousness.

As Graham and Tilly plunge into Boston's darkest underbelly, they face more than just the echoes of their city's past. They must outwit cunning cultists, battle impossible monsters on the windswept beaches of Martha's Vineyard, and forge an unexpected alliance with the motley and formidable all-female biker gang inspired by the Queen of Monsters, the 'Nemesisters.' Every step drives them closer to the unthinkable and asks the questions:

How many must be sacrificed to save the world from the ever-watchful gaze of Nemesis? How many more will she demand when the world needs to be saved?

a good listen, worth trying.

Another great story from Jeremy Robinson, extremely well read by RC Bray, never experienced any of his nemesis books before so didn't know what to expect, was pleasantly surprised. was a good listen with some surprises that kept me wanting to know what would happen next, also some slightly predictable moments, but this may be down to me reading so many of his books I'm starting to understand his way of thinking... that thought is possibly scarier than any book.
Overall I enjoyed this book, perhaps not as much as some of his others, but very good.

Nemesis 2.0

You know what? It's bloody funny, a right rollicking ride, and different from the first one. Highly recommended.

Stellar Reboot

The original Project: Nemesis novel is how I discovered Jeremy Robinson almost a decade ago and made me an overnight fan. This re-imagining just knocks out right out of the park. Excitement and coolness front to back. RC Bray also continues to be one of the best narrators in the business and is right at home with Robinson's work. It's a definite dream team.

Outstanding!

The best and most entertaining listen on audible so far. Brilliant characters, loved Monk, the performance by Bray is fantastic, it’s a kaijo monster story but completely original, it was like listening to a Raymond Chandler detective novel in a sci-fi world of monsters and giant Kaijos.
The rollercoaster didn’t stop till the end. I really would like more please!

I really enjoyed this book. R c Bray brought it to life as always but I always love a book where there is great snark as well as lots of action. Kept me listening to the end - so much fun.

Funny and entertaining. Great story

Much as this is classed as a stand alone story, it helps if you've listened to the various other stories that this references in its various ways. I laughed far more than i expected too, at the one liners and dark humor thats peppered all the way through the story.
Well written, and as usual, brilliantly read by RC Bray.

what an amazing addition to the nemisis book. but its not, but is kinda. don't know lol .

as the team develops in the story it just goes strength to strength.

nemisis is a huge part of the story but I feel you could take this colection of characters and put them in anything.

fantastic work as always from Mr Robinson and the Bray.

absolutely can't wait for more monk. shes great.

honestly its a stand alone please give it ago and open the door to the works of Jeremy robinson. x
