Good but the weakest so far

The performance was great but the storyline is not the strongest. Still enjoyable. Hopefully future episode have a stronger storyline.

Great Trilogy, just one small comment

Once again Craig has done a great job on this ongoing saga, quite believable to us Sci fi addicts, just please stop going back over the story in recaps, it’s just not necessary , we’ve all enjoyed the other books , I hope there may be more to come

Great and epic trilogy

Really enjoyed the Not Alone series of books. previously, I was never really interested in sci-fi but gave the first of this series a go and became hooked.

James Patrick Cronin delivered a grate narrative to the series and made listening easy going and wanting more. The only criticism I have I'd surrounding some of the accents, particularly the Welsh.

Other than that, great audiobook.

Strong and confident ending to the series

I really enjoyed these three books. Sometimes the politics of the earlier trilogies became wearisome. There is less is these three and more exciting adventure. The two children were great, intelligent and articulate, such a contrast to so many grunting teens of modern fiction. The development of the aliens was fascinating and some of the main characters, particularly Billy, (who must be modelled on Graham Hancock) were really vindicated.

Welsh

I liked the story and kept with it although a bit long for me. The narrator was easy to listen to but had to go down a star because the British accents were terrible particularly the attempt at Welsh.

Well pleased

I have been through all the previous alone series now, and this is one of those that again does well with the political, moral and scientific situations that are faced by our returning heroes.
Slightly different ending to how i thought this series would go and it comes to the fore more due to the audio component than the book but a satisfying ending.
Narration by JPC is done excellently as you would expect and suits the characters well.

Ran out of steam after 3 books

The original story was excellent. The following two books were decent but then they strung it out for 9 books. Each book followed the same format. 3/4's boring political guff and tv panel show appearance and 1/4 interesting plot. Endgame was a rush job. Tied it all up in the last 2 hours of story with a nonsense method of getting rid of the engineers (you know this supreme being that kept two civilisations down was out witted with a stupid bomb plot) and Timo's story wrapped up conveniently in 3 seconds. If you only read the first book in this series it would be enough. Good interesting characters that I could warm to with a terrible plot.
