About this listen
Galen, a Syrena prince, searches land for a girl he's heard can communicate with fish. It's while Emma is on vacation at the beach that she meets Galen. Although their connection is immediate and powerful, Galen's not fully convinced that Emma's the one he's been looking for. That is, until a deadly encounter with a shark proves that Emma and her Gift may be the only thing that can save his kingdom. He needs her help - no matter what the risk.
©2012 Anna Banks (P)2015 Audible, Ltd.Anna Banks didn't mess around when she wrote this, and after a bit of beginning introduction and talking, the story kicks off fairly quickly. I didn't get confused with the change in POV's either, something that usually happens with audio for me.
I loved the narrators ability to switch characters so easily and I will definitely be listening to more books read by the same narrator. Brilliantly read. I was sad when it ended. I hope the sequel comes up on here when it's released in May.
