About this listen
If my time with Ryan Miller were a hit track on the radio, I imagine the lyrics would go something like this...
"We're so different, but they say opposites attract. Oops, I've fallen, and my heart doesn't want to come back."
His dad lives right next to my mom, and after the two of them suffered an unexplained accident while taking down holiday decorations, both Ryan and I were forced to become the only 30something residents of Sunny Creek Village Independent Senior Living Community.
Constantly thrown together by the antics of our crazy parents and the tough-as-nails community enforcer, Betty Matthews, Ryan and I formed an alliance for the sole purpose of survival. But I never expected to be so interested in finding out what he was hiding beneath his grumpy, serious demeanor. More than that, I never dreamed what I found would be the kind of man women sell their souls to the devil for.
Unfortunately, our little one-hit wonder on the airwaves has more to say before it comes to an end. Although, finishing the outro to this song is a real doozy....
Tell me...what lyric rhymes with "Oops, I've fallen for my future stepbrother"?

DNF due to male narrator’s “female” voice!
Loved the premise and the story drew me right in, but I’m afraid I had to stop listening after the male narrator’s first chapter 😂 his Carly voice sounds way too much like SpongeBob and it immediately ruins all immersion!
Edit: it’s not SpongeBob, it’s actually the funny voice filter from TikTok 😂

excellent story, bizarre narration
the storyline and characters were both interesting and original but the narration choices were off-putting. Having a male and female narrator but then each of these providing their own voices to each characters in their chapters was very strange. The male narrators versions of Carly and her mum were not great. Why not have the female narrator provide consistent voicing for Carly and her mum and the male narrator provide consistent narration for Ryan and his dad? The way it stands is just strange.

Unnecessary Swearing
Was enjoying it but so much swearing! Why?? Also, a different narrator for the daughter character when the son character is talking? Could have been an enjoyable story.
