About this listen

Oracle 2: The Dreamland Murders is a gripping psychological thriller series follow-up to Andrew Pyper’s audiobook Oracle. Performed by an ensemble cast with Joshua Jackson, Devon Bostick, and Humberly Gonzalez, Pyper's high-stakes thrill ride continues the journey of FBI agent Nate Russo as he tracks an elusive serial killer and discovers an ancient curse. This time, Russo’s unique psychic gifts and killer instincts will lead him to the secrets of an idyllic New England village, and to Dreamland—the abandoned amusement park built on something evil that refuses to stay buried.

Book is so haunting, going back centuries of mystery, beautifully written and goes in hand in hand with Josh Dawsons incredible story telling techniques- with the help of added voices of in book partners and sound affects make it all come alive esp in the dark of the night!

Another brilliant narration by Joshua Jackson. He really brings the character of Nate Russo to life. A great story. Creepy and well told. If you enjoyed the first book you'll love this.

I enjoyed the story up until the end. It got confusing and wasn't explained. I don't have a clue what happened. To much going on.

Great story but poor ending.

But I liked it, the format has changed which was a bit jarring at first, but an entertaining listen looking forward to the next book

Absolutely gripped from start to finish. I listened to both Oracle and Oracle2 in just over 2 days. I'm lucky enough to get to listened while I work. I would most definitely go watch this if it were made into a movie!

Movie worthy!!

Enjoyed this story and it is such a page turner that I read it in a day. I really like the main character and the supporting cast are also good in the main. I am anticipating more from the dynamic trio and the ending leaves the door open for further episodes. In fact perhaps I should say foursome as no doubt the super librarian will feature in future tales. There are some holes in the plot and I was slightly confused by the ending but it is a novel and so some licence is only appropriate. I suppose that you have to accept that the hero tackling the baddy, at night and on their own instead of first calling for reinforcements, is par for the course. All in all a good read and a little different from the usual crime novel. More please.
