About this listen

The library once stood proud as a beacon of magic and power. For five hundred years, it has been broken.

Quinn can barely handle her own life. When the Library of Everywhere discovers her compatible magical signature, suddenly, she is the sole existing potential librarian. Now, it's not only the weight of her world on her shoulders—Quinn must connect with the library system before the universe itself disintegrates.

Once she's settled, it should be quiet, peaceful work—just as soon as she battles a few engorged bookworms, repairs hundreds of years of damage, and figures out why there's been no librarian for the last several centuries.

And once that's done she can start gathering overdue books. All 18,042 of them to start.

There'll be a helluva lot of late fees to process.

I love a good LitRPG story and unfortunately this just didn’t do it for me. The narrator was good but the story didn’t stand out at all and I found it very boring.

Mediocre story

The performance was awesome. I loved all the intonations the sassy nature of Quinn really shone through as well as all the emotions of the other characters.

In fact Quinn was written and performed so well that I found her incredibly anno

This book has a perfect mix of slice of life, intrigue, and action, and a unique system for the MC to power up,

The best bit for all us bibliophiles, the MC gets kidnapped to run a magical library, probably a secret dream for a lot of us.

It’s heartfelt, funny, and intense in all the right places.

I can’t recommend it enough.

A great book that hits all the right notes.

Andrea's performance as usual was great. Enjoyed the story although I found KT very much like Pirateabo!!

very enjoyable

I had high hopes for this book but soon got fed up of the irate shouting and snark. Ponderous dialogue with very little action. Sorry but that’s what I think.

It could have been so good.

I love libraries, and I would love to visit this one! Library System Reset - Overdue delivers a brilliant mixture of characters and creatures starting with Quinn, Lynx and Dottie but it doesn't end there. The spirit, magic, and system are revealed naturally, evolving the story in a way that I found really compelling.

The addition of more characters, both allies and adversaries, who have their own designs on the Library of Everywhere added depth and excitement. Quinn is clever and wise beyond her years, never pretending to know it all. She uses her past life as her strength to stand up to these forces in a heartfelt and realistic manner. She's a character to root for, and I can't wait to see how she continues to grow while facing challenges to the library in book 2. The audio is fantastic too, I really enjoyed the excellent narration by Andrea Parsneau!

Pure Magic!

Awesome start to a new series by KT Hanna and narrated by the amazing Andrea. Not much more to say than give it a listen if you haven't already.
