I enjoy this trilogy & I disagree with whoever wrote saying that the narrator was slow & irritating. I heard d every word & in this day & age it is somewhat of a rarity!

Having read and enjoyed this trilogy some years ago, I was keen to have this as an audio book. But I'm sorry to say the narration was really not good. His voice was pleasant enough, but the narrative was dreadfully wooden, with almost no emotion, and read at such a deliberate and slow pace, that it could have been a robot. I struggled to carry on listening, as the narration grated on me so much.

Good story ruined by narration
